I actually have no valid reason for shopping, I just love buying clothes – I said it! So I guess the accidental theme of my latest FemmeLuxe Finery haul is all black everything seeing as not a drop of colour touched my basket. Here I’ve got a range of body cons, bodysuits and trousers which I know you’ll love just as much as I do.

Starting with the most gorgeous piece in todays selection, I think the FemmeLuxe bodysuits are absolutely fire! This Amelia bodysuit comes in a range of pretty colours, however I like the timelessness of black which you can literally wear with anything.
Featuring adjustable shoulder straps and a popper fastening it’s delicate, feminine, comfortable to wear and looks amazing with or without clothes. Whilst this is something I enjoy wearing of an evening for my boyfriend, when teamed with a skirt and heels for a night out or wide-legged trousers and a blazer for a very glamourous lunch, you can never go wrong with lace.

FemmeLuxe body con dresses never fail to deliver on sass and this pretty Montana style is every girls must-have. Soft, stretchy and so easy to wear, I love how figure hugging this body con is as it accentuates my curves in all of the right places and hides any lumps and bumps thanks to the dark colour.
I have such an obsession with off-the-shoulder pieces recently and enjoy clashing girly outfits with bold statement footwear. Here I’ve teamed my dress with black heeled Timberland boots and feel a major rock-chick vibe going down. The long sleeves help to slim down my arms whilst the mid-thigh cut elongates the legs – I’m in love!

Following the black theme I took a browse through a selection of FemmeLuxe trousers and found these stunning PU beauties. I remember when wet-look leggings first came out years ago and how obsessed everyone was over how shiny they looked but these are next level in comparison. I feel like an evil super villain from a comic book and can’t stop touching and stroking my legs.
With a fabric lining to make them easier to slip into, I love how sexy these trousers make me feel. They fit and sculpt to the body beautifully without being restrictive and despite having a big booty with a small waist the gentle stretch allows me to still wear a size UK8 which jeans would never do as they’d be too tight or too baggy in certain places – thankfully FemmeLuxe have it just right!

Finishing my spree let’s return to my love affair with short black dresses. This is possibly the bravest I’ve been with cut-out dresses before as this little number is all about the underboob and ribs, which in theory could look pretty cute with a lace bra if you’re not feeling quite as brave or need a little extra support.
Legs out, shoulders out, stomach on show, open back and underbood is a killer combination and certain to turn heads which kind of makes this my guilty pleasure as it’s one of those va-va-voom ‘turn the entire room silent’ dresses. The feel good factor alone of this dress is out of this world and I’ve stocked up on cleavage tape to keep everything accordingly in place.

I’ve quite enjoyed topping up on black fashion this week and I’ve got such rock and roll vibes going on because of it. I tend to make a habit of avoiding black clothing when shopping in order to inject a splash of colour and pattern into my life, yet I found this surprisingly invigorating.
It goes to show that we can all do with shaking up our style every one in a while; following rules is all very well and good once you find something that works for you, yet we mustn’t forget that there is a whole world of exciting styles to explore. Don’t shy away from classics, past trends or things that you’ve previously avoided – they could well be the wardrobe staples that you come to love the most!
