Last week I had a photoshoot in Abingdon with Dean Paget, a photographer at Final Image Photography, who had the idea of using a Kawasaki Ninja motorbike as a co-ordinating model accessory – as you do! Being the thrill seeker that I am I just couldn’t resist the challenge and I’m thrilled with the final shots. Together with the fabulous makeup artist Sarah Baker, the three of us came up with a punk rock concept with leather, stiletto’s, stockings, back combed hair and super long lashes. It has been seven years since I was a page 3 model for the Daily Sport, and although I didn’t want to go topless again, I was happy to use some crafty angles and props to get some risque but tasteful shots.
It would have been very safe and boring to have worn just a bikini and smile and I enjoy a little bit of a creative twist. I wanted the shoot to ooze femininity in a contrast between eyeliner and machine. In some of the shots I wore denim shorts and trainers, a dress, a lace negligee, a leather jacket, red and then black heels and even a lipstick glitter kiss mark on my thigh. Iconic photography is all about capturing a moment, an emotion and a vibe that speaks a thousand words, not just standing in front of a camera and pouting. I hope that you like the pictures and would love to hear your feedback, I’ll be adding more as and when I get them back!
