There is nothing nicer on a chilly evening than stepping out in style whilst feeling super snug and being bang on trend. I am a huge fan of faux fur, firstly because it is against animal-cruelty, and secondly because it adds a fab texture and elegance to absolutely every outfit on all occasions. So when I spotted this beauty at Next I just had to have it.

Here I am wearing the cream faux fur jacket in a size UK6 as it is rather loose fit so I have dressed a size down from my usual UK8 to make it a little more snug. The jacket interior is a cotton and polyester mix with a modacrylic and polyester outer. It can be machine washed at 30 which is great because of its cream colour, but can’t go in the tumble dryer or come in contact with a hot iron. Not that you’d need to iron it!
The lining is thick and soft, much like a soft fleece enveloping every inch of skin in a pocket of warm and cushion and keeping you super toasty inside. There are four concealed hooks and eyelets to fasten the front of the jacket from top to bottom, with full length sleeves and a high neckline. The jacket finishes just below the waist in length which is perfect for keeping the chill off of your midriff. And thanks to it’s beautiful texture and soft cream colour it can be worn in so many ways. Here I have teamed it with a pair of wetlook leggings, heels and a bralet for an evening look, it would look stunning over a sparkling backless ball gown or equally with a fur hat and a pair of torn jeans and boots for a smart casual daytime look.
