My Ninety Day Review Of The P90X3 Workout

I’m 26 years old, a life-long vegetarian/almost vegan and a single parent to my six year old daughter and my twenty-one month old son; so fitness is important to me and I need all the energy and stamina that I can get. With Insanity and P90X triumphantly under my belt, and having had a pretty indulgent Christmas month off of training, I’ve stuffed my face with carbs, sweets, alcohol and nibbles so a new fitness routine is most definitely in order. Between trying workout challenges I’m fairly average at taking exercise, I walk the children to school and back for an hour and a half a day during the week and I’m kept busy running around after them at home so it keeps me at my ideal weight, which doesn’t usually fluctuate far from eight and a half to nine stones. The P90X3 workouts are six days a week for half an hour at a time for ninety days straight, which may seem like a lot but when you think about it it’s only three hours of exercise a week which is nothing really. The only essential equipment needed is resistance straps which I already have from doing P90X and they cost a few pounds to buy online. I’m going to bulk out my workouts by using all of the individual equipment I have already at home, which includes adjustable weight dumbbells, a pull-up bar and press up rings, all of which can be replaced by the bands.

My Post-Christmas Body Before Starting P90X3

My Post-Christmas Body Before Starting P90X3

As a single mother of two I’m forever juggling my time and trying to squeeze things in as and when I can. As it’s just me and the children I have no way to get to a gym on any regular basis through lack of childcare, so I tend to workout from home and find myself exercising at crazy hours, between my son’s nap times, first thing in the morning or in the early hours of the night when I’m up with my teething baby. It isn’t ideal but I fit it in nonetheless as I don’t believe in excuses. It can be tiring and relentless committing months at a time to a fitness regime but it’s something I find incredibly worthwhile, and as I find it difficult to get in much ‘me’ time, the idea of a quick half hour session of P90X3 really appeals to me and is far more manageable than other longer routines.

I am 5ft8″ in height, 8st10lbs in weight and a UK8 dress size so I’m pretty happy with my weight, hence why I’m not looking to lose weight with P90X3 Classic. If anything I will more than likely gain weight through muscle as I typically increase my daily intake of calories to around 3,000+ when working out. I’m therefore using this routine to gain strength, stamina and muscle definition, I’d like to get a six-pack and for my body to firm up all over and feel toned. So my results will be visual in the sense that I’m hoping to looked more sculpted and muscular as opposed to scrawny and skinny.

I Have Bulk Cooked Plenty Of My Favourite Vegetarian Brown Rice & Lentils To Fuel My Workout's All Week

I Have Bulk Cooked Plenty Of My Favourite Vegetarian Brown Rice & Lentils To Fuel My Workout’s All Week

As I’ve been a vegetarian since I was a child my diet does not include meat, fish or egg and I have very little milk or cheese so I eat pretty healthily anyway. I’m not going to be using any meal plans, shakes or supplements as I get everything I need already through the food that I eat. I have lots of soya, pulses, lentils and fresh vegetables and salad and I’m more than happy with that. I will however be increasing the sizes of my food portions and eating six meals a day instead of three.

I will be posting my progress here with a write up and picture after each workout is complete. From past experience of working out seven days a week I’ve found I get through a lot of clothes and have multiple bras and shorts that I workout in whilst others are being washed on a continual cycle, with some outfits being more covered than others. To make my pictures more consistent I will choose one outfit to wear for the daily pictures which I will change into after I’ve exercised each day in my various gym attire. This way I can ensure that you are able to compare my results more accurately, as I am hoping to put them into a slide show at the end, and fingers crossed, if I stand in the same position each day it will look like a flicker book of progression as you see my body change.

My P90X3 Classic Calendar

My P90X3 Classic Calendar

So here I go, ninety sessions start now! Eek! Wish me luck and feel free to share your thoughts and questions with me by leaving a comment in the box at the end of this post. If you’re doing P90X3 too I’d love to hear how you’re getting on, what keeps you motivated and what your favourite routines are. Let’s get fit together!

Day 1

So we start the ball rolling today with Total Synergistics and what a routine that was! Knowing that there’s only thirty tiny minutes on the clock I was expecting a somewhat hurried version of P90X, less repetitions and fewer moves as almost a bite-sized chunk of a real workout, but I couldn’t have been more wrong.

The only thing that was hurried was the tempo of the upbeat backing track throughout the video, and I was both pleasantly greeted and amazed by the fantastic new moves that it taught me. The concept of todays workout was to work the entire body through multitasking; lifting weights whilst raising one leg, doing chin up’s whilst pulling your knees to your chest, and jumping into a press up with one knee raised at a time. The time absolutely flew by and I found each set ingenious.

P90X3 Day 1 Core Syn

P90X3 Day 1 Core Synergistics

There are still the classic P90X moves in there from squats to yoga poses, but they’ve been combined and adapted to create the most ergonomic fusion of balance and endurance testing sets. My heart rate is up but I’m not out of breath, my arms and legs are burning yet I’m not in pain and I feel like I’ve had a great workout without dripping in sweat and feeling exhausted. I could easily see this fitting into a lunch break with a resistance band in your handbag as it’s all the equipment you need! And you can easily take it up a notch by increasing the weights or resistance used and doing more reps.

The presenter Tony Horton is just as fabulous as ever, with his positive attitude and quirky remarks, I found myself smiling throughout, enjoying each routine and enthusiastically jotting down notes on how many reps I did and what equipment I used. At just half an hour this workout flew by and it’s totally left me wanting more; how crazy that sounds compared to others that I’ve tried where I’ve puffed and panted my way through, questioning my enthusiasm to punish myself further. This really was a treat and I’d imagine others who are trying this and feel unfit and out of shape to begin with will be a lot more positive and able to continue with it and see it through because it is so much more convenient and accessible than anything else I’ve tried in the past.

My score for the first Total Synergistics is:
Warm Up
Push-Up/Side Arm Balance -all
Crescent Chair – all
Pull Knee Pull x 8
Flip Flop Crunch x 12
Crawly Plyo Push-Ups – all
Releve-Plie, Weighted x 33 using 8lbs strap
Chin-Up Circle Crunch x 11
Boat Plow – all
Balance Arch Press x 20 using 8lbs straps
3 Hop Press – all using a 5kg dumbbell
Glamour Hammer x L8 R8 using 5kg dumbbells
Branon Boat – all
Flying Warrior – all using 5kg dumbbells
Squat Rockers – all using 5kg dumbbell
Side Rise Punch x L7 R7 using 5kg dumbbells which I found challenging
Warrior Squat Moon – all
Cool Down

I loved todays workout and can’t wait for tomorrow. My body feels worked yet alive, I’m not in any pain as it ran at a tempo that is enough to make you feel it, but doesn’t lead you into exhaustion, because as it burns you quickly switch to the next set which focuses on another body part so you can recover in between. I think going straight in with the 5kgs dumbbells was a little too much on some of the moves, so I may consider switching down next time or sticking with it and doing less reps now so that I can build up my strength to progress. My legs are feeling the burn from the squats and balances and I’m looking forward to being able to get lower and hold each position more firmly without wobbling or toe-tapping between sets. From the chin-ups, press ups and hammers my arms are immediately looking pumped and it’s such a buzz to notice a difference already; let’s hope the six pack follows suit! Overall, what a fantastic start to such a well-rounded and fulfilling routine!

Day 2

Today was the Agility X routine and what a cheeky little chap this is! Tony squeezed an action packed half an hour of blood, sweat and tears into this beauty and my legs are now on fire. I’m bright red and dripping with sweat but I feel fantastic. This workout really offered the whole cardio package, from jumps, squats and lunges to shuffle steps, and skaters, the time totally flew by and it really pushed me.

P90X3 Day 2 Agility X

P90X3 Day 2 Agility X

The Agility X routine consists of:
Explode & Hold
Y Lunges
Joel Jump Squats
Toe Tap Skater
Near and Fars
Ring Around the Posey
Scissor Kick Jumps
8 Sprint 3
Plyo V Lunge
High Step Shuffle
Gump Jump Push-Ups
Tap That Line
Jump Knee Jump
Triangle Lunges
Squat Jump Lunge
3.4 Run
Long Jump Sprint
Plyo Line Push-Ups

Although Agility X packs a lot of punch into a short amount of time, because each move is just a minute long it makes it possible to power through each set and let off steam no matter what your fitness level is. This routine focuses on two tape lines marked out on the floor so that you can hit the points set out and ensure that you don’t lose form or distance as the clock count down. I didn’t have any tape so I used the rug in my lounge which is rectangular in shape and the perfect size to jump across.

This routine highlighted the need for me to strengthen my legs, to get deeper down into my squats and ensure that my lunges meet at right angles, as I’m pretty wobbly starting out and don’t have the best form right now, so it will be great to see my progression as I tighten up and gain precision. As far as cardio workouts go, this is one of my favourites; at just thirty minutes in length it’s long enough to make you feel the burn and get you out of breath but short enough to avoid knocking you out or making you consider quitting! A big thumbs up for Agility X!

Day 3

Today was the X3 Yoga routine and I was so excited to try this. I am a huge fan of yoga and loved the P90X yoga routine, but found an hour and a half session sometimes difficult to fit into my day. With this routine being just half an hour it’s the answer to my prayers and I hoped that the compact time wouldn’t compromise on the quality and duration of the balance poses, stretches and postures.

P90X3 Day 3

P90X3 Day 3 Yoga X3

The Yoga X3 routine consists of:
Child’s Pose
Downward Dog
Sun Salutation
Pedal Feet
Vinyasa
Crescent Pose
Airplane
Warrior I
Warrior II
Warrior III
Reverse Warrior
Bound Side Angle Pose
Chair
Half Moon
Twisted Moon
Standing Splits
Wide Legs
Forward Fold
Triangle
Twisted Triangle
Tree Pose
Extended Leg Toe Bind
Ted’s Chair
Crow
Cat Dog
Bird Dog To Dog Dancer
Camel
Figure 4 Series
Plow
Shavasana

Starting out my legs were shaky and difficult to straighten, bending forward I couldn’t quite reach the floor and felt quite stiff. As the session went on gradually my muscles loosened and I was able to get deeper and lower into each position. It was good to see the classic moves that I love, from tree to downward dog and cat stretch, and there were also some great moves I’d not tried before. Other moves such as the seated hamstring stretch had evolved by making adjustments to the position of the legs and variations added to it. I found Yoga X3 a fun and fulfilling routine that has worked all of my muscles and left me feeling amazing, I’m standing taller, holding better posture and can touch my toes again. I have so much more energy, I’m more aware of my body and drinking more water. As I work through each half an routine it’s making me feel so much healthier by the day, I’m eating clean, feeling great and sleeping so much better.

Day 4

Today was The Challenge which made me slightly nervous when I saw it’s name on my calendar as I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The Challenge is a half hour set of arms and shoulders for which you set your repetition goal and try to hit it at each set as you alternate between pull ups and press ups. I decided to use my resistance bands today instead of my pull up bar, just to try something new and to see how it would differ. As I have an open staircase into my lounge, I looped my 19lbs bands around the balustrade and pulled back a tension from the distance of about a meter away. In order to maximise the potential of the bands I gave a few seconds tension hold when doing each set and could really feel it.

I also decided to use my push up rings when doing my push ups today as I have fairly weak elbows, I found that changing my hand grip from open on the floor to a fist with the rings really helped me to do my sets and I could get a lot lower than normal.

P90X3 day 4 The Challenge

P90X3 day 4 The Challenge

For my first attempt at The Challenge routine I scored:
Warm Up
Wide Pull Up – Round 1: 14 Round 2:14
Standard Push Up – Round 1: 20 Round 2: 20
Chin Ups – Round 1: 14 Round 2: 14
Military Push Ups – Round 1: 20 Round 2: 20
Close Grip Pull Ups – Round 1: 14 Round 2:14
Wide Push Ups – Round 1:20 Round 2:20
Vaulter Pull Ups – Round 1: 14 Round 2: 14
Staggered Push Ups – Round 1: 20 Round 2: 20
Burn Out – 10 x 1-Wide Front Pull Up + 3-Standard Push Up

I Used My 19lbs Resistance Bands For Today's Workout

I Used My 19lbs Resistance Bands For Today’s Workout

I set my goal at 14 pull ups per round and 20 push ups and was pleased that I hit it with each set. I really felt the burn in my arms and now I’m totally pumped. I’m thinking of trying next weeks set with my pull up bar just to see how the numbers change from those I got with the bands. And I already know from my shaky elbows that my numbers will remain the same next week but hopefully my strength and deepness with increase. Overall this was a fab upper body workout with instant results, long enough to notice the difference but short enough to fit into a morning without spending the rest of the day aching like a dislocated octopus.

Day 5

Today was CVX and I absolutely loved it, I’m sweating so much I know I’ve earned the burn! The workout was a fabulous mix of cardio and weights, squats and lunges, highs and lows and medium and fast tempo. The clock whizzed past and I’m almost craving more, but being bright red and out of breath I think I’ll probably drink a nice cold glass of water and catch my breath first!

P90X3 Day 5 CVX

P90X3 Day 5 CVX

The CVX routine consists of two rounds of:
Press Jacks
Atlas Twist
March & Reach
Travelling Tire Twist
Frog Squat Reach
Arc Press Lunge
Hop Overs
Balance Pull
Twist & Pivot
Side Reach Jumps
Crescent Chair
Globe Squatters

You can choose whatever you like to use as a weight or do the workout without anything, I began with a 5kg dumbbell but found that it was too bulky and difficult to move with, so I unscrewed one of the 2.5kg weights and held it in my hands like a steering wheel and it worked great. Alternatively cans of food, shoes or bags would work just as well. I saw each move through from start to finish, really gave it my all and had the most amazing cold shower after. For a workout that you can squeeze into your day without affecting your time or convenience then this is a must have for everyone. It’s just pure adrenaline and I loved every second!

P90X3 Day 5

Day 6

The Dynamix routine today was so much fun, it was a muscle-stretching, heart-pumping half an hour that kick started my day and now I’m feeling on top of the world. This routine focused quite heavily on the legs but also covered the whole body through variations in the moves, from using the shoulders for press ups to stretching the spine in the scorpion, bending, folding, holding and pulling until every inch of my body sang. I’ve really noticed a firmness in my abs and glutes from today.

P90X3 Day 6 Dynamix

P90X3 Day 6 Dynamix

I love how just minutes into the routine I went from being stiff and bent to warm, loose and straight and it gave me great encouragement to keep pushing through as my posture and balance improved with each move. It’s a workout that anyone can do, you can make it as hard or as easy as you please as Tony always shows you three different ways of doing each set, so it really covers all abilities. I learnt some fab new stretches and it was cool to see a runner sharing his advice from training too. This is a workout essential for every athlete and can be done anywhere as you don’t need any equipment!

The Dynamix routine consists of:
Leg Lift
Adductor Lift
Horse Step
Forearm Plank
Glute Lift
Scorpion
Shoulder Stretch
Groiners
Pigeon
Lunge Push-Ups
Polka Stretch
Polka Plus
Double Knee Pulls
Front To Back Lunges
Double Quad Stretch
Glide Lunge
Tin Man Zombie
Glute Rocker
Double Knee Pull
Spinal Twist
Fifer Scissor Stretch
Marching Bridge
Farrthing Stretch
Side Banana
Superman

I’m really noticing my body firming up, my stomach isn’t as soft and round and is gradually shrinking in as I drop the excess weight from Christmas. My mobility has improved, I’m stronger and have greater stamina, and after just one week I have biceps and a slight chisel to my ribs!

Day 7

Today I made a bit of a boo boo as I read my schedule wrong and started week 2 day 1 of Total Synergistics today but missed off week 1 day 6 of The Warrior last week, so tomorrow I will do The Warrior as my day 8 and then I’ll be back on track. Phew!

So todays Total Synergistics totally melted me, it was amazing to repeat a workout for the first time and compare my notes. This time round I switched my pull up bar for my 19lbs resistance bands instead, and I used by 5kg dumbbells for the weights. I am a complete sweaty mess right now, my whole body has had an amazing workout, my core feels tight and strong, my arms are burning and my legs want to run me up the stairs to bed. You know you’ve done it right when you feel it after your workout!

P90X3 Day 7 Total Synergistics

P90X3 Day 7 Total Synergistics

My score for the second Total Synergistics is:
Warm Up
Push-Up/Side Arm Balance -all
Crescent Chair – all
Pull Knee Pull x 20
Flip Flop Crunch x 18
Crawly Plyo Push-Ups – all
Releve-Plie, Weighted x 39 using 19lbs bands
Chin-Up Circle Crunch x 10 using 19lbs bands
Boat Plow – all
Balance Arch Press x 20 using 19lbs bands
3 Hop Press – all using a 5kg dumbbell
Glamour Hammer x L10 R10 using 5kg dumbbells
Branon Boat – all
Flying Warrior – all using 5kg dumbbells
Squat Rockers – all using 5kg dumbbell
Side Rise Punch x L8 R8 using 2kg dumbbells
Warrior Squat Moon – all
Cool Down

The main switch that I made was to reduce my weights from 5kg to 2kg for the Side Rise Punch set, and to switch up my resistance bands from 8lbs to 19lbs. I have far greater balance than the first time I tried this routine just a week ago, and I was able to up my scores on every round which is encouraging. Although I think the further I go on, the less I’ll be able to add to each set, as I will eventually reach my maximum and strive to maintain momentum. I loved this routine last week and I still love it now! Did somebody say bedtime? Zzz… Phew!

Day 8

So today I did The Warrior routine which I skipped out last week somehow when I went straight past the workout, so now that I’ve caught up tomorrow carries on as the schedule states! What a cheeky little workout this badboy was, my legs are on fire from jumping, my arms feel like machine guns from planking and I’m bright red and out of breath from sprinting and crunching. I love it!

Half an hour totally flew past today, which towards the end I was a little relieved because this really put me through my paces. And the fact that it needed no equipment just the ability to get up and go hard was fantastic. I’m feeling like a fine tuned machine, I’m eating healthy because I feel healthy and drinking gallons of water which has been a great detox for me after the sugar and rich foods of Christmas. I didn’t think it was possible to love the P90X3 routine any more than I already do, but The Warrior tops my list! Rarr!

P90X3 Day 8 The Warrior

P90X3 Day 8 The Warrior

Day 9

It’s Agility X and and boy has it got me in a sweat! I’m literally glowing red, my blood is rushing around my body in a frenzy, my lungs feel on fire and I’ve got the biggest grin on my face ever. My whole body has had a beating from todays workout, my legs are begging me to sit down and my abs feel like I’ll been cracking walnuts. I’m sleeping better, eating cleaner and training harder than ever, just half an hour a day feels like nothing and it leaves me craving more, now how many people can say that about a workout? Hmmm. Bring on tomorrow!

P90X3 Day 9 Agility X

P90X3 Day 9 Agility X

Day 10

Today’s Yoga X routine was just beautiful. My core is so strong, I have much better balance and posture and my transition between stretches is smooth and controlled. It gives me incredible focus, makes me stand so tall and sets me up for the day ahead. I’m loving being so active, I’m eating well and feeling great, all from just half an hour of exercise each morning.

P90X3 Day 10 Yoga X

P90X3 Day 10 Yoga X

Day 11

It was The Challenge round two today and I decided to shake up my routine by switching my resistance bands for my pull up bar and doing hand to floor press ups instead of using my rings, just to see how it would effect my results and which form I’d prefer.

P90X3 Day 11 The Challenge

P90X3 Day 11 The Challenge

For my second attempt at The Challenge routine I scored:
Warm Up
Wide Pull Up – Round 1: 14 Round 2:14
Standard Push Up – Round 1: 20 Round 2: 20
Chin Ups – Round 1: 14 Round 2: 14
Military Push Ups – Round 1: 20 Round 2: 20
Close Grip Pull Ups – Round 1: 14 Round 2:14
Wide Push Ups – Round 1:20 Round 2:20
Vaulter Pull Ups – Round 1: 14 Round 2: 14
Staggered Push Ups – Round 1: 20 Round 2: 20
Burn Out – 10 x 1-Wide Front Pull Up + 3-Standard Push Up

I found it far more challenging with the pull up bar instead of the bands; mostly because you’re lifting your entire body weight with the bars, which isn’t matched by the flexibility of the bands even when you pause and hold each extension between reps. Therefore I felt the burn a lot harder this week and I’d hoped to up my score from the first time round, but as I increased the force I had to really fight to even hit the same results. In future I will stick with my pull up bars for this specific routine and hope that I can gradually increase my numbers as the weeks pass and my muscles strengthen.

Day 12

Today was CVX once again, which is cardio fused with weights and jump training. I am the biggest most sweatiest mess ever as I had a few drinks last night and am feeling just a little hungover right now. The hour-hour routine really put me through my paces, got my heart pumping, my blood flowing and now that it’s over I’m feeling a million times better. I’ve hydrated with water, I have energy once again and I’m standing tall instead of nursing my poor head like an injured bear. P90X3 not only turns your body into a machine but I’ve discovered today that it also cures a hangover! Who would have thought it? 🙂

P90X3 Day 12 CVX

P90X3 Day 12 CVX

Day 13

The Warrior knocked my socks off today, my whole body is sweating, I’m out of breath and feel like I could roar like a lion for fighting through that. I’ve been seeing people commenting online that P90X3 doesn’t work the abs, and after just finishing this half hour’s instalment of fitness it baffles me as to how anyone could think that. Each and every move in this workout kills the abs, from the boat to plank and downward dog leg lifts, the amount of times Tony says “pull your belly button into your spine” are endless, and I’m certainly feeling the burn. Who wants to be laying on the floor doing boring situps to build their abs when you can be jump training, busting out the cardio and working your whole body at the same time. ‘The Warrior’…please marry me! That was insane. 🙂

P90X3 Day 13 The Warrior

P90X3 Day 13 The Warrior

Day 14

The completion of week two was beautifully signed off today with the Dynamix routine which has left my hamstring and abs singing like a plucked harp. I feel flexible, mobile and well stretched and it’s been the most incredible way to start my day. I’m noticing since the first time I tried this routine I’m more able to get deeper into lunges, I don’t wobble or shake as much and I can keep my legs a lot straighter with my heels up. I’m feeling really great in myself, I’m keeping more active, I’m eating well and drinking lots of water. P90X3 is really becoming a lifestyle for me now and it’s impossible not to love every second of it.

Day 15

Today was the third cycle of Total Synergistics for which I switched some of my equipment to better suit my needs. I used my pull up bar, 19lbs resistance bands and 5kg dumbbells, and for some of the moves where the weight was too heavy before I reduced it to a 2.5kg free weight instead.

P90X3 Day 15 Total Synergistics

P90X3 Day 15 Total Synergistics

My score for the third Total Synergistics is:
Warm Up
Push-Up/Side Arm Balance -all
Crescent Chair – all
Pull Knee Pull x 8
Flip Flop Crunch x 15
Crawly Plyo Push-Ups – all
Releve-Plie, Weighted x 40 using 19lbs band
Chin-Up Circle Crunch x 14 using pull up bar
Boat Plow – all
Balance Arch Press x 20 using 5kg dumbbell
3 Hop Press – all using a 5kg dumbbell
Glamour Hammer x L11 R11 using 19lbs band
Branon Boat – all
Flying Warrior – all using 2.5kg free weight
Squat Rockers – all using 5kg dumbbell
Side Rise Punch x L11 R11 using 2.5kg free weight
Warrior Squat Moon – all
Cool Down

I’m feeling really good after today’s session, my core is twitching from the boat and half moon and my legs are burning from squats and jacks. I’m noticing greater definition to my muscles by the day and looking forward to the rest of the workouts this week to see if I can push my numbers up slightly.

Day 16

I made a school boy error today by leaving my workout until the evening as I was too busy dashing about during the day, and Agility X is certainly not kind to lethargy. I’m absolutely shattered, I limped my way through the workout and panted through the breaks between sets. My legs are like jelly, I’m boiling hot and more than ready for bed. But on the plus side I’m too tired to stay up late and eat snacks in front of the TV so instead I’m having a well earned glass of water and going to bed. Morning workouts in future! Argh!

P90X3 Day 16 Agility X

P90X3 Day 16 Agility X

Day 17

Yoga X totally saved me today, I woke up this morning feeling drained and weak and suspect it may be down to my period approaching. After walking the children to school I hardly had the energy to get in the door, so I had a glass of water and a serving of vegetarian quinoa that I’d stocked in the fridge in a big batch, and an hour later I began my workout.

P90X3 Day 17 Yoga X

P90X3 Day 17 Yoga X

I feel so much better now for doing the yoga, my limbs and muscles feel alive, I have more energy and I’ve shaken off my heavy joints. So many people around me have colds and flu right now that I hope I’m not coming down with it too. The half hour routine was just what I needed, enough to perk me up but not too much to finish me off and leave me as a heap on the floor. Let’s hope tomorrow I’ll be back to normal as I’m making sure I get plenty of water today and lot’s of vitamins in my food.

Day 18

Today was my third attempt at The Challenge – rarr! I opted to use my pull up bar and just my hands for press ups, and excuse me whilst I give myself a round of applause as I also upped my numbers from 20+14 to 22+16. Softly softly catch a monkey.

P90X3 Day 18 The Challenge

P90X3 Day 18 The Challenge

For my third attempt at The Challenge routine I scored:
Warm Up
Wide Pull Up – Round 1: 16 Round 2:16
Standard Push Up – Round 1: 22 Round 2: 22
Chin Ups – Round 1: 16 Round 2: 16
Military Push Ups – Round 1: 22 Round 2: 22

Wide Push Ups – Round 1:22 Round 2:22
Vaulter Pull Ups – Round 1: 16 Round 2: 16
Staggered Push Ups – Round 1: 22 Round 2: 22
Burn Out – 10 x 1-Wide Front Pull Up + 3-Standard Push Up

My body is feeling amazing after today’s workout. Upping my numbers ever so slightly made me feel great, I powered through each set and really held my own today. My body is feeling rock hard and pumped and my energy is through the roof. I love this routine and can’t wait for my next one, hopefully I’ll add a few digits each round.

Day 19

Today was CVX again and it totally smashed me. I really gave it my all and towards the end I literally limped my way through the final sets and burnout. I love how it’s a complete body workout, from abs and core to legs and arms. Using the weights whilst jumping into lunges and pulling your knee to you stomach is an all round muscle mashup. I use a 2.5kg freeweight that I took off of my dumbbells as it’s circular and easy to hold. In order to keep up my strength and stamina I’m not looking to raise my weights but instead go deeper in my moves and faster in each round.

Day 20

I did The Warrior today in the kitchen whilst waiting for my roast potatoes to cook in the oven. Having always worked out from home in the lounge on the carpet it was pretty interesting working out on a wood floor instead. I found that I had better grip barefood and as a result my moves were more precise and controlled. I’d never have though a surface could make such a difference to a workout until now, and I think from now on I’ll do the rest of my routines in the kitchen. It just goes to show how mobile and adaptable this workout is, you really can take it anywhere with you.

P90X3 Day 20 The Warrior

P90X3 Day 20 The Warrior

My abs feel nicely worked as well as my arms from planking and also my legs from the jumps and lunges, so pretty much every part of my body is buzzing right now. This is a multitasker’s dream come true!

Day 21

Dynamix was a beautiful little treat today and my hamstrings are singing like a harp right now from the ham rockers and pigeon lifts. My abs feel really firm and my body is looking pretty shrink wrapped right now. My diet has been fairly indulgent the whole time that I’ve been doing this workout. I don’t deny myself anything, from chocolate and wine to massive portion sizes and snacks between meals. I don’t workout to lose weight, I workout to break even and allow myself to eat everything I love without becoming obese. Being a vegetarian my diet is low in fat, but I easily match the average meat eater with the amount of treats and carbs that I have. I love how P90X3 allows me to just work out for half an hour a day and maintain a good natural weight and body that I’m happy with. Rock on!

Day 22

To mark the start of week 4 I was rewarded with a brand new workout called Isometix and I smiled to myself as the DVD started and showed that the equipment list was nil, as all you need is yourself. With the indication that this workout was much like yoga I was incredibly excited to give it a go, imagining that it would be as beautiful and calming as the previous breathing routines. How wrong was I!

This meaty sweat-inducing heart-pumping muscle-pushing whole-body-shaking gruelling routine totally finished me, and it all focused upon balance and strength, holding each position for 45 seconds until your body literally begs for forgiveness. And boy oh boy am I feeling it now, every inch of my body burns, I’m more limbered up than Bambi and I feel amazing and ripped at the same time. I discovered today that my left side is surprisingly strongest for balance, although I don’t know if it’s down to my left leg being stronger or my right arm better at balancing me in position. But there was certainly a lot of twitching, a lot of shaking, and the burnout at the end was a lovely treat as I managed to hold Crane the whole time. 🙂

Closing my eyes for the inner balance test with one foot off of the floor was also an eye-opener (or not as the case may be), as I discovered how unsteady I am with my eyes shut; however as the time ticked by I was able to centre myself more and gain posture and balance, but I have some way to go to be as good with my eyes shut as when I have them open. I also found the bound dog with leg lift really challenging and I fell down a few times as I shook and strained to hold my balance. I’ll strive to keep off the floor next time! What an incredible new routine, I can’t wait for tomorrow!

P90X3 Day 22 Isometrix

P90X3 Day 22 Isometrix

The Isometrix routine consists of:
Plank, Arm Reach
Standing Leg Extension
Plank Arm, Leg Lift
Chair Leg Lift
Forearm Side Balance
Royal Dancer
One Arm Sphinx
Tree Pose
Side Arm Balance
Warrior 3
Bound Dog
Inner Balance
Moon Dog
Bound Dog Leg Lift
Burnout: Crane

I would love to have taken some pictures of the new positions from today but as I’m by myself I have nobody to hold the camera for me, so next time I’ll definitely catch some shots to show you my favourites.

Day 23

Welcome Mother Nature and my delightful period. My back is aching, my stomach cramping and I’m weak and tired all over, so the Dynamix routine today really was a welcome treat. Despite having my period I feel better for doing todays workout as a lot of it was stretching, lunging and bending which is a relief compared to weights and plyo. This week will complete my first month of P90X3 and I’m really loving it. My body is gradually trimming and tightening and muscles are appearing in places I didn’t know existed. P90X3 is definitely a lifestyle change instead of a fad yo-yo workout, and something that is far more manageable to keep up and enjoy doing. It’s enough to push you without breaking, and make you feel good without taking all of your energy and leaving you in pain. If I can do it during my period then it goes to show that anyone can!

P90X£ Day 23 Dynamix

P90X3 Day 23 Dynamix

Day 24

Today was a brand spanking new routine, the Accelerator, a core based cardio mash up of jumps, planking and twists, just what Mother Nature ordered for my delightful period cramps. But nonetheless I gave this routine my all and was so relieved as I smashed through the final minute of half an hour of blood, sweat and tears. I’m as red as a strawberry and puffing for breath like a steam train, but I did it and I’m feeling pumped and proud of myself, with nothing but a towel and a glass of cool water.

P90X3 Day 24 Accelerator

P90X3 Day 24 Accelerator

The Accelerator routine consists of:
Speed Salutation
Twist & Pivot
Foot Pursuit
Get Up/Get Down
X Jacks
Balance Burpees
Slalom Hops
Mountain Climbers
Spin Stops
Plank Walkers
Joel Jumps
Plank Circles
Roadrunner
Double Trouble Climbers
Diamond Hops
Swimmer’s Planks
Speed Skater
Plank/Sphinx Combo
3 Squat Hops
Donkey Kicks

The most challenging new moves from today were the swimmer’s planks and donkey kicks, they really pulled my stomach and worked my arms and legs. What a routine!

Day 25

I have just completed my first ever Pilates lesson: Pilates X which was todays workout. And all I can say right now is WOW, what a fantastic experience that was. I’ve heard of Pilates before but had no real idea of what it was as I’d tried yoga and presumed Pilates it was the calmer, no so flexible version of it. I was wrong. Pilates is very similar to yoga in the fact that you use some of the same positions, but where you would hold and balance and maintain your position and strengthen your muscles with yoga, Pilates involves holding and pulsing your limbs, tightening your core and breathing to engage the muscles. I’ve tried many abdominal workouts in my time and I have to say Pilates gave me a run for my money today, my stomach feels as hard as a rock right now and I’m loving it.

P90X3 Day 25 Pilates X

P90X3 Day 25 Pilates X

Much like yoga, there are a lot of hip exercises, straightening legs and holding them at angles away from the body to cause tension and strength, but the noises coming from my bones today were incredible. I was clicking, popping, crunching, grinding and grating with each move, which showed my joints were loosening and working hard. For my first experience of Pilates I loved it, it’s really worked my stomach and is far easier to do than yoga, as the emphasis is on repetition of moves and breathing which feels more like a workout than the holding, straining and flexibility involved with yoga that not everyone can do. I can’t wait for it to appear on my calendar again! 🙂

Day 26

Todays CVX was a sweaty half an hour and a great way to start a cold, wet and windy day. I used my 2.5kg freeweight from my dumbbells again as it’s a perfect disc to hold and throw around as you do jacks and twists and turns; pretty similar to how I drive really!

P90X3 Day 26 CVX

P90X3 Day 26 CVX

I’m definitely more flexible since I first started, for each move I’m able to reach further out and touch the floor before jumping up and hitting the ceiling. My transition between sets is far smoother as I plyo between moves instead of stepping, and I generally try to do the trickiest form of each routine to push myself that bit further. I’m four days into my period and the exercise is definitely helping as it’s not as bad as it usually is, or perhaps I’m just stronger now and more able to deal with the discomfort? Either way I’m not complaining!

Day 27

Yoga X you sweet little treat. I really enjoyed today and it is also thankfully the end of my period too, which lasted five days and wasn’t as bad as usual so I can only presume the routines have helped to lessen the pain by keeping me active. This is by far my favourite routine ever and I loved every second. I’m limber, floating on air and at peace. Bring on tomorrow!

P90X3 Day 27 Yoga X

Day 28

Today was the Dynamix workout and it made me feel fantastic as I stretched out my hamstrings, spine and core. I love leg extensions and stretches, it’s the best way to start a day and leaves me with such a spring in my step. My body feels like a fine tuned violin right now and half an hour totally flew past.

P90X3 Day 28 Dynamix

Day 29

Today marks the start of week 5 eek! And to celebrate I had the pleasure of a brand new routine, Eccentric Upper which is a total upper body workout, packed with press ups, pull ups and weights and each repetition is held and controlled at a count of three. My arms are literally shaking right now and the pull ups were crazy fun, boy do I feel the burn! For todays routine I used my pull up bar, my 5kg dumbbells for every weight session and I did my press ups directly on the floor with my bare hands.

P90X3 Day 29 Eccentric Upper

P90X3 Day 29 Eccentric Upper

The Eccentric Upper routine consists of:
Warm Up
Standard Push-Ups
Standard Pull-Ups
Military Press
Military Push-Ups
Chin-Ups
Deep Swimmer’s Press
Fly Push-Ups
V Pull-Ups
Upright Hammer Pull
Staggered Push-Ups
Rocket Launcher Row
Lateral / Anterior Raise
Plyo Push-Ups
Vaulter Pull-Ups
Pterodactyl Flys
Rocket Launcher Kickbacks
Flip Flop Combo
Tricep Skyfers
Kneeling Preacher Curl
Burnout

I was literally laughing through the burn, willing Tony to count down from three to one quicker for each set of ten. And for the burnout I did (3x military push-ups + 1x wide front pull up) for six sets. I feel like a glorious gorilla right now, pumped and standing tall and my muscles are singing. Rarr! I love P90X3!

Day 30

And it seems I’m rewarded with yet another brand new workout, Triometrics; although when I say rewarded, I actually mean punished as my legs are like quivering jelly right now and I’m trying my best not to cry like a baby. What a fantastic and meaty workout that was! Tony you animal!

P90X3 Day 30 Triometrics

P90X3 Day 30 Triometrics

So each move is a minute long and divided into twenty-second sections, the first section is to ease you in, the second adds intensity and the third is designed to make you squeal like a sweaty pig for the clock to hit zero. This workout focuses a lot on the legs such as putting you in a squat and getting you to ouch your fingers on the floor before reaching up, this intensifies by getting you to drop lower to put your fists on the floor and finally put your palms flat on the floor. Moves such as lunges go from hands in prayer to hands up and jumping plyo between sets, and balance postures such as skaters change from hinging your leg, to keeping it still and then dropping it out in front of you during each one legged squat.

The Triometrics routine consists of:
Warm-Up
Calf Raise Squats
The Duper Skater
Frog Jumps
Warrior 3 Squats
Speed Skater
Superman Lunge
Sumo Kick
Run Stance Squats
Iso Squat
Slater Squats
Duper 2
Jack Squats
Hell’s Chair
Kablam
Burnout

My quads and hamstrings are like scaffolding right now, I’m a tower of strength! My heart is pounding, I’m dripping with sweat and my legs are burning, that’s when you know you’ve done it right. I had a bit of a cheeky binge out on bread, crumpets and chocolate over the weekend which was my little treat time, so my abs aren’t as pronounced as they were last week, but I’m eating clean again now with my big stock of brown rice and lentils and I’m determined to be a good girl and stay healthy for Easter.

Day 30

Yoga X has been my favourite workout for a long time and that’s not about to change. I feel fantastic right now after this mornings half an hour set. My body is strong, centred and balanced, and I feel peaceful, light and lifted. Yoga is incredible, it opens your joints and warms your muscles, gives you amazing flexibility and grace and puts you in the best mood. All hail Tony for this wonderful half-hour gift!

P90X3 Day 31 Yoga X

P90X3 Day 31 Yoga X

Day 32

Today was another corker of a new routine, the Eccentric Lower which focused on the legs and lower body. This half an hour meat-marathon consisted of squatting, lunges and kicks based with weights and core balances to get the whole lower body involved and I’m feeling the burn for sure.

P90X3 Day 32 Eccentric Lower

P90X3 Day 32 Eccentric Lower

The Eccentric Lower routine consists of:
Warm Up
Squats
Lunge
Sumo
Weighted Pistol
Side Kick
Front Kick
Albanian Squat
Adductor Lunge
Cross Reach
TT Plus
Bridge Kicks
Hip Flexor Splits
Calf Dog
Cooldown

A lot of the moves were performed whilst holding a weight for which I chose my trusty 5kg dumbbells, and each repetition focused on going slow for the count and covering a set of ten for each. As I got further into the routine my legs started to turn to jelly but I did my best to fight through it and kept going until the end. It will be interesting to see how I do next time with this routine and if my balance and core strength improves enough so that I no longer wobble.

Day 33

The Incinerator today was a yet again another brand new routine and I went at it full force and really gave it my all. It was an upper body explosion of weights, curls, hammers, press ups, chin ups, pull ups which focused mainly on the shoulders, back and arms.

P90X3 Day 33 Incinerator

P90X3 Day 33 Incinerator

For my first attempt of the Incinerator routine I scored:

Push Ups – 23
Rocket Launcher Rows – 14
Chin Ups – 12
‘A’ Press – 13

Rocket Launcher Kickbacks – 15
Burnout – all
Cooldown

For this routine I used 5kg dumbbells, my pull up bar and my hands on the ground for the push ups. I really felt the burn with my dumbbells, and towards the end of the routine I was gritting my teeth to push through. The burnout was an absolute beast as Tony shouted out commands between press ups, sphinx and side stands, but afterwards I was so hyped with myself for getting through it and going hard! I’m walking like a jelly fish now, my arms are destroyed.

To celebrate this new brutal routine here are some of my favourite moves from today, I’ve added in some of my own leg extension adaptations to make some of the routines harder and work my core at the same time:

There are so many moves involved in this routine and it all happens so fast, at times I was a bit jittery as I kept checking the screen to make sure I was doing it right and hesitated to switch stances and do the moves in the right order, but as I got into it I found it a lot easier. Just minutes in I was dripping with sweat, my heart pounding and my hearing went a little faint so I sat down for several minutes after the routine to cool off and lower my heart rate. Tony never fails to deliver with powerful and fantastic routines that get the job done, and this is truly testament to that!

Day 35

Today was the Dynamix routine once again and a lovely way to unwind bright and early on a Sunday morning. I feel fresh, flexed and my muscles beautifully stretched. This is a routine that really works the body without knocking you out and breaking your energy, I could easily do this session all day everyday because it makes me feel ontop of the world. Ready for the hard graft to start again tomorrow!

P90X3 Day 35 Dynamix

P90X3 Day 35 Dynamix

Day 36

Eccentric Upper totally destroyed me today, holding out each rep of weights and chinups really got to my arms and shoulders and I winced my way through the final sets with gritted teeth as my face glowed red and I breathed as hard as a steam strain flat out to get me through. Doing weights is one thing, but slowing it down to the count of three and making the muscles work really gives you the burn and it feel so amazing when you cross the finish line and know that you’ve made it. I used 5kg dumbbells and my chin up bar for todays workout, with my press ups by hand on the carpet.

Day 37

Triometrics is a naughty naughty workout isn’t it!? I’m dripping in sweat and as red as a beetroot after that crazy cardio/plyo combo. It really worked my legs from the squats and lunges, especially on one leg and having to touch the floor. My arms had a well needed rest today so that my legs could get a beasting, and a beasting they got! I doubt I’ll get up the stairs tonight, but it’s true what they say “go hard or go home” and it’s a good job I’m home now that I’m hard! Did somebody say bed time? Zzzz…

P90X3 Day 37 Trisometrics

P90X3 Day 37 Trisometrics

Day 38

YogaX was a lovely treat today, it is still ym favourite ever routine and it set me up beautifully for the morning ahead. I’m noticing my flexibility is a million times better than when I started a month ago, my back is dead straight and I can reach my toes and wrap my hands around them with ease. I’ve gradually suppled up and my balance postures are becoming stronger, firmer and easier to hold. I’ve even mastered crow and can stay poised on my arms with my feet off of the floor for the duration of the move on countdown. I love a good bit of progress!

P90X3 day 38 Yoga X

P90X3 day 38 Yoga X

Day 39

Eccentric Lower was a corker of a workout today. I used my 5kg dumbbells as my weights and my legs had a beasting from the squats, lunges and balance extensions with weights, each move was performed slowly across a three count which really made the muscles work and has left me with rock hard thighs. I’ve been pigging out on birthday cake, biscuits, ice cream and lots of bread recently as it’s been so cold and I was craving comfort food, so my abs aren’t as pronounced as they were last week. But I’m a strong believer in balance and I don’t deny myself foods that I love, instead I shall just push myself harder with each workout that follows in order to stay on track with my fitness journey. After all I’m not looking to lose any weight with this routine, but bulk up and gain muscle definition so a little treat every once in a while just gives me a reward for going hard. Everything in moderation.

P90X3 Day 39 Eccentric Lower

P90X3 Day 39 Eccentric Lower

Day 40

The Incinerator has ripped up my arms today, I used my 5kg dumbbells and pull up bar in the doorway and my muscles are now on fire. I really pushed myself to go hard today and feel amazing for it, it’s crazy how doing weights can work up such a sweat and get your heart going. I have so much more upper body strength since beginning P90X3, and now when I pick up my soon to be two-year-old son, instead of huffing and puffing as I strain to lift him up onto my hip before, now I almost fling him into the air by accident as my ability is so much better and I can lift a greater weight without any effort at all. This is what fitness is all about, feeling great on the inside and out!

P90X3 Day 40 Incinerator

P90X3 Day 40 Incinerator

Day 41

MMX has totally smashed me today, I feel amazing, my heart is pumping, my blood is flowing, I’m panting for breath sprawled out on the carpet face down like a sky diving squirrel dripping in sweat. What a punch/kick fest that was, I saw every single move through, to time and with force and power behind it. I sprawled until my wheels came off and I centred my breath around each hit to keep me full of energy and the ability to continue until the end. I love this workout, and from sweat alone I can feel the fat just melting away. What a wonderful start to the weekend, long may this high keep me on good form!

P90X3 Day 41 MMX

Day 42

Dynamix was a beautiful way to round off this weekend, my joints, hips, legs are core are stretched and limbered. I feel flexible, healthy and as light as a feather. Like Tony says, the routine is similar to yoga but with movement and it really helps to relax your muscles at the end of each crazy week that passes.

Day 43

Eccentric Upper you beast! It got me again and had me growling through the burn. I continue to use my 5kg dumbbells and pull up bar and I’m loving the results I’m getting. I’m able to go slower and lower into my chin ups and negative count release, and it’s making my upper body so incredible able. I feel as though I have the strength of an ox.

Day 44

It was the Triometircs routine again today and my legs are feeling it. The squats and jumps have turned my quads to stone and I could balance on one toe right now for how stable and on point that I am. This routine is great for pushing you harder with each minute set that increases at three stages of difficulty. Leg heaven, or hell, it depends which way you look at it.

Day 45

Yoga was beautiful today, I found it difficult to sleep last night as my son was very restless and kept waking me up with his grizzles on and off until the early hours of the morning. By the time it got to daylight I still couldn’t get settled so instead I came downstairs to do yoga in the morning light and it was incredible. I feel so peaceful, relaxed and in balance with myself. My ability to stretch further, hold my limbs straighter and not waiver in a balance is getting stronger by the day. I’m just about to have some breakfast of brown rice and lentils that I prepared in advance and have kept in the fridge, that way I know that even when I’m pushed for time I can still have a nutritious and healthy vegetarian meal to work with my training instead of undoing it with junk food.

Day 46

Today was the Eccentric Lower routine again and my legs are like beautifully primed pistons from all of the squats, lunges and gradual kicks. Doing each repetition slow with control is such a burner and gives great results. After just half an hour my legs are tight and hard and I’m ready to take on the day. How manageable P90X3 is! I love it! 🙂

Day 47

The Incinerator was a burner of an upper body workout today. My arms are mashed but I feel fantastic. From flitting between my 5kg dumbbells, my pull up bar and press ups my entire arms and shoulders are on fire. I literally had to grit my teeth through the final burnout move of sphinx and press ups but get the greatest sense of achievement for seeing it through. My arms are looking pumped right now and I love how immediate the effects are with weights. I’ll be walking around like the terminator today for sure.

Day 48

MMX today was a gritty sweat fest of kicks, punches, sprawls and elbows. I always have the biggest smile on my face when I’m smashing my way through a good fast-paced cardio routine like this, and a glorious cold shower afterwards is the cherry on the cake. I still continue to eat exactly what I like and don’t deny myself anything, yesterday I had a bit of a naughty binge on pretzels, cheese puffs and chocolate but it’s the weekend and everybody deserves a cheat day. I’m using this routine to bulk up and gain muscle and I’ve done just that so I am very happy with my results. I will however look to cut back a bit towards the end of the routine to get the maximum effect of abs as summer approaches. I am laying my foundation now and eating like an animal, ready for the strict diet in a few weeks time when the finish line is in sight. Exciting!

P90X3 Day 48

P90X3 Day 48

Day 49

Dynamix today was a lovely way to tie off the end of week seven of P90X3. I love a good stretch, twist and lunge to limber up and ease off the aching muscles from the gruelling routine of the week. It’s almost the calm before the storm as the routine changes again for next week and I’m so excited to go hard!

P90X3 Day 49 Dynamix

Day 49

Today was the Isometrixs routine marking the beginning of week eight and my second complete month of P90X3 which is pretty cool. I’m loving this program and really enjoying the extra strength and stamina that it has given me. I have done the Isometrix routine before and found it just as challenging today as my body shoot and sweated as I held each stance, balance posture and pose. I could literally feel my muscles tightening to keep me on form and was so relieved to flop onto the floor after it was complete. I’m definitely more fine tuned since my first attempt but still have some way to go to keep perfectly straight and raised without grimacing.

Day 51

I woke up with a dry throat and choked sinus this morning and dreaded the day ahead. It rained on the walk to school with the children and I just didn’t have the energy or enthusiasm to make my way through the day. You know when your whole body feels drained and everything is a real effort? After trundling home with shopping bags, making the dinner, doing some housework and tending to the children I finally settled down this evening to start my workout and I was praying it wasn’t cardio or weights. Imagine my delight when I realised it was Dynamix today, a glorious stretch routine, and I’ve just finished it and feel happy, content and ready to collapse in my bed. I think it’s a horrible time of year when the weather is cold, windy and grey outside, so many people are coughing and sneezing and I just feel delicate. But despite this I feel so much better for having a workout and I’ve taken some vitamin C so hopefully it won’t turn into a full blown cold!

Day 52

Today was the Accelerator and a mad half an hour of cardio, jumps, planks, press ups and running and I’m dripping with sweat and my lungs are on fire. That’s when you know you’ve gone hard! My quads are burning and I’ve almost drank my kitchen sink dry of water to rehydrate. I feel so much better after each workout and I think flushing my system through and getting the blood pumping has helped to fight off my cold. Bring on tomorrow!

And here’s a progress snap of me right after working out, I change into my black shorts and bra top to take my progress picture so that I’m in the same outfit everyday for continuity, but as I work out 7 days a week, as you can imagine, I get through a lot of gym clothes and underwear in the wash daily!

Day 53

Pilates X, I almost forgot how much of an ab killer this routine is, I can’t believe I panted my way through the whole thing, I think child birth would have been easier! I have a bit of a swollen stomach and cramps at the moment which makes me think that my delightful period is imminent and may explain why I felt so tender during todays routine. My core is burning from all of the pulses and leg extensions, and my hips and joints made the loudest and most disgusting clicking and popping noises as I circles and flexed them. I really love Pilates and it’s not something that I’ve tried before starting P90X3. I just wish it wasn’t at this time of the month so I can enjoy it all the more without my stomach aching.

Day 54

I upped my game with CVX today by doubling my weight from a 2.5kg freeweight to a 5kg dumbbell and I really felt the difference. As my dumbbells screw together, before I’ve always taken one round disc off of one side and held it in my hands like a steering wheel, but using a rather clumsy and big dumbbell today really changed how I did the routine. It wasn’t as easy to move and I couldn’t hold it in just the one hand as it’s so cumbersome when jumping about. Aside from the size of it, I feel like I’ve hit a new level with my workout today and I’m way more out of breath and sweating harder than usual. I guess it’s double or nothing! Rarr!

Day 55

I have had one heck of a week! Wow. Aside from having a sore throat I then had my period and was feeling rubbish. I flew to Tenerife for a long weekend on a hen do with ten girls for a friends wedding and literally ate and drank everything in sight for four days straight. I got incredibly sunburnt, had sun stroke and then an allergic reaction to something I ate or touched out there. As a result my skin is red raw and my face, eyes and neck are puffy and swollen. I had a great time and really enjoyed myself, but I’m paying the price for it now that I’m home!

So today I picked up from where I left off, even though I haven’t worked out in five days, I still continued with day 55 which was Yoga X and the next workout on my calendar. In order to keep myself on track to where I should be in my schedule I’m hoping to do a couple of workouts a day instead of just one so that I can catch up again. Yoga was incredible, it’s my all time favourite routine, but as my face and neck are swollen, some of the bending moves where my head was on the floor below my body made my head feel like it was going to explode with pressure. Normally the routine wouldn’t affect me badly at all and I’m not entirely sure if I should be working out in the condition that I’m in, but I’m taking it slightly easier than normal and using the modified moves to make the routine less gruelling. Fingers crossed I’ll be better soon!

Day 56

Feeling like a turned over tortoise today, having the Dynamix routine was a blessing because I was able to go slow and stretch as I ouched my way through each move with sunburn and took things slow and deep which was refreshing. I’m so grateful for this slow-paced and delicate routine today and hope that each day I’ll start to feel better and better.

P90X3 Day 56 Dynamix

Day 57

Today marked the start of week 9 eek! And I was greeted by a squeaky new routine Decelerator which really excited me, as I still have awful sunburn and feel tender and stiff, so by the sounds of it’s title I thought Decelerator would be some kind of wind down set. Oh how very wrong I was! It totally killed me, left me shaking from holding squats and my whole body is feeling ripped. The idea of Decelerator is to perform each set with form and control, holding each level and gradually moving from start to finish of each extension in three stages. An example of this that I found particularly challenging were the squats where you rise up on your toes and squat high, medium and low holding each level for a set amount of time.

P90X3 Day 57 Decelerator

P90X3 Day 57 Decelerator

I grimaced my way through the half hour routine and although I’m still sunburnt and stiff, I’m one day closer to my finish line. Wahoo! I couldn’t hold the crane cracker, used a chair to do the elevator pull ups, scored 13 chin ups with my knees pulled up, did 9+9 vaulter pull ups with the use of a chair and the squats left me shaking. But I look pumped already from just half an hour of muscle madness!

Day 58

Agility X you are most definitely my friend. I used my rectangular lounge rug again today as a guide for how far to jump from corner to corner in order to keep my sets controlled and deep enough. From having an allergic reaction on holiday a couple of days ago and my head and eyes swelling, I found a few of the jumping moves made me feel a bit light-headed and it made my head pound when I had to jump and touch the floor so I took it slightly easier than I normally would and tried to look straight ahead instead of down at the floor as a way of modifying my moves. Fingers crossed I’ll be back to full health soon, nothing will stop me from getting to that finish line!

Day 59

Today was The Challenge again, an upper body beefathon and I decided to use my pullup bar and bare hands for pressups. I set my numbers at 20 and 14 again, 20 for pressups and 14 for pullups and it was enough to make me growl but not destroy me. It feels like it’s been ages since I did any real strong arm work, and I managed it without the use of a chair and feel really good now. Perhps next time I’ll raise my numbers, as I chose to stick within my comfort zone and do each move properly and slowly for quality over quantity.

Wow, day 60 of 90 and the finish line is getting close now! Today was yoga which was incredible, my favourite routine of all time and the clock ticks by far too quickly for my liking. Total Synergistics today was a sweat-bucket of a workout. I used my 5kg dumbbells and my pull up bar in the door frame. My arms are totally pumped right now and I’m feeling so strong and powerful. The routines are always challenging and I did my pull ups this time without a chair. Every inch of me feels alive and is burning, but that’s how you know you’ve done it right!

MMX should really be renamed Ninja-X, I love a good hook, jab, sprawl combo and it makes me feel like a comic book hero as I scramble, press up and punch/kick half an hour away with the biggest grin on my face. I adore how invigorating and precisely compact these routines are, I’ll take quality over quantity any day.

Eccentric Upper, what did I do to deserve such a killer workout? Rarr I’m sweating, my arms are shaking and I’m just about ready to flop into bed for the evening after that. You’ve got to go hard or there’s no point in working out from home is there? I love it when people ask me what gym I attend to get in shape and they always look so surprised when I say I don’t use the gym at all. And it’s true, my body is my very own gym thanks to P90X3.

Triometrics today absolutely killed my legs and I growled my way through the half an hour routine. My balance is absolutely amazing now and I’m getting deeper into the dupers and squats with less effort. This routine left me destroyed but on top of the world at the same time. I love how it works every inch of the body, through cardio, legs, core and even arms. For a multitasking mother of two, this routine is a must have.

I loved Pilates X today, it feels like it’s been forever since I last did this routine and it totally satisfied my itch to work my abs and tighten my core. I huffed and puffed my way through each set and it wiped me out, it’s amazing how such tiny pulsing movements teamed with breathing can get deep down into your muscles for a really meaty workout. I feel alive, on fire and rock hard. All hail Pilates!

I love Dynamix every Sunday as it’s the perfect way to unwind your muscles for the weekend. It’s always good fun stretching, planking and doing hip openers and it’s almost as pretty as yoga. After a hectic weekend I don’t mind spending a bit of time on the floor stretching the aches away. Bliss.

Decelerator almost finished me off today! After a few glasses of wine and a chillout weekend it was back to reality with a bump on Monday morning with this cheeky routine. My legs and arms are pumped from jumping, squatting, pushups and pull ups, but I feel so good for getting through it. I’m 100% human and love a drink and a handsome sized dinner and afters, and I believe you should have everything in moderation. What’s the point in denying yourself everything that makes you happy? So long as you put in the hard work to burn it off after then you can live your life to the full. I feel fantastic now and really enjoyed my naughty food and morning burn off. Bliss.

Day 73

For todays The Challenge routine I set my numbers at 20 for push ups and 18 for pull ups with my bar and upped the anti for my final three weeks of P90X3 as previously my numbers were 20 and 14. It wasn’t a massive increase, but it sure made a massive difference as at times my arms were burning and shaking so hard I thought I’d hit the wall and give up. But I got the fire in my belly, the roar to succeed and I pushed myself harder than I ever had and saw the 30 minutes right the way through to the end. And I am loving the post-workout flop right now as I lay on the floor typing my progress update with one finger because my arms are like jelly. Go hard or go home boys and girls, I’m pumped like a hot air balloon right now! 🙂

What a beautiful routine that starts the day the right way. Total Synergistics today was a beauty of a beast workout and my arms and legs are burning like a furnace. I used my pull up bar and it really gives me the resistance with my full body weight as I do a chin up and raise my knees up to my chest. I’ve come on leaps and bounds since I first started just over two months ago and I have so much more upper body strength now. It’s amazing to see progress in looking back to when I didn’t have muscles at all, but at the same time I know that I must still push myself harder to achieve the results that I really want. Agility X is always a wonderful unwind routine perfect for tense and aching muscles. It still gets my heart pumping and works up a sweat from lunging and squatting, but at least you’re close to the floor for when it finishes so that you can collapse onto the carpet and have a nice little afternoon nap. After a bit too much naughty food and drink this weekend I’m determined to stay focused on my diet and cut out the junk food for the next two weeks ready for my final results. My body is on form thanks to the P90X3 routines, now I just need to fix my diet. Gulp!

Day 78

Decelerator today killed my arms and legs. I was such a naughty girl at the weekend, I ate out at three restaurants and had huge naughty portions of food, as well as going on a two day drinking binge for a hen-do consuming six, yes six, bottles of rose wine, which I’m guessing puts my calorie intake for the weekend at well over a weeks worth in just two days. Gulp! I also have my period and feel achy and stuffed up, totally the opposite of what I should be right now. Today marks my turning point, and from here on in I’m determined to eat clean and get as ripped as possible for the final twelve days! I can do this!

Day 79

MMX was a complete and utter sweat-fest and just what I needed to kick my excess calories to the curb. I worked out so fast and hard today that I was shaking afterwards and gasping for breath, at one point I thought I might throw up and my lungs were on fire, but I absolutely earned every single drop of sweat and really gave it my all. I shouted and screamed my way through the routine, gearing myself up with aggression and drive by telling myself that it’s only thirty minutes, and every single second that passes, every kick, every punch and sprawl is one step closer to victory and it really worked. I’m burning hot and dripping in sweat now and I feel amazing, apart from my bloated period belly of course!

The closer I get to the finish the more determined I’m becoming to get the best result possible to do my before and after pictures justice. Pilates X was a bit of a joint clicker as I’m on the final day of my period and went snow boarding this week and bruised my tailbone, so some of the leg twists and pulses left me wincing but I soldiered on nonetheless. It wasn’t painful, but I’d say mildly uncomfortable and I didn’t want to do my muscles any damage. I suspect my aching stomach and taking a dive on the slopes were to blame moreso than my bruised ego. I feel fit and happy after todays routine and look forward to hitting that finish line shortly. My diet is on top form and I’m drinking plenty of water, the end is in sight eek!!

Eccentric lower totally destroyed my legs today, but my calves look fantastic in heels as a result! I’m soldiering on with my healthy eating and cut the junk and treats from my already vegetarian diet. It’s really strange how the more junk I eat, the hungrier I feel; but after going a few days without bread, chocolate, alcohol or takeaway it’s amazing how healthy and content that I feel, and I’m not craving sugar and grease at all anymore. I feel pumped and ready to take on the world today, with just one week left I’m right on track for a glorious finish!

Isometrix today was a welcome shake up to the calendar, it focused on holding balance postures for 45seconds at a time and my whole body, muscles, core and stamina were shaking like a leaf. It made me realise how much stronger my balance has become from when I first started, as I’m able to get far lower, longer and more precise into each position now more so than ever. It was still a challenge for me as I modified each move to the maximum to really push myself, extending legs where possible and raising my arms and looking up. I only have five days left until the finish and I’m going to miss P90X3 so much!

Accelerator today was a heart pumping cardio fest which kept me on my toes and got my blood flowing and legs burning. There is something so satisfying about a real breathy workout that sets your body alight and makes you feel so alive. It’s like having a body MOT, every muscle has been worked and I have so much energy right now. My diet is going well and I continue to avoid junk food, with just four days left I aim to achieve the best results possible and really go hard and push myself to my limits until I get there.

Day 89

Dynamix is the cherry on the low-fat cake that is P90X3, I have to confess that when I’m shattered after running around after my two children, having a workout based on the floor is a welcome treat. It’s so relaxing to be able to lay on your stomach or back whilst lifting your legs, stretching and doing hip openers. I see it as the cooldown of the weeks grind, and it always leaves me in a floaty, dreamy haze.

Today was the Dynamix routine once again, and it marked the end of my P90X3 journey. A little part of me was hoping to go out on a high with a killer cardio and weights session to get my body as pumped and hard as possible one final time, but I feel ontop of the world after finishing my final 30minutes in an unwound, relaxed and beautifully energised way.

P90X3 Day 90 Dynamix

P90X3 Day 90 Dynamix

I can’t believe that it’s the end already, as looking back these ninety days went unbelievably fast. Half an hour’s workout a day is such a winning formula and it fit perfectly into my hectic lifestyle and family routines. I am so pleased, proud and inspired to have taken on this fitness challenge and seen it through to the finish. Not only has it given me the body of my dreams, but it’s also heightened my focus, my drive and my passion for life.

P90X3 Before And After Pictures

P90X3 Before And After Pictures

To start every day feeling fit, energised and healthy has the most amazing positive effect on everything that you then go onto to. And going to bed every night after an active and worthwhile day helped me to sleep better, to rest properly and to up my intake of water which then improved my skin and flushed away the toxins. Not only is P90X3 a workout, it is a way of life, and it certainly changes every part of your day for the better. I no longer want to binge on junk food on a daily basis, as when I do it’s a nice treat but then I realise after a little nibble that eating clean and training makes me feel so much better.

  • woah you look so beautiful and sexy. I am not a feet fetisher, but damn I see what they mean they like feet after seeing your pictures.

Great work!!! Love your ass. I want to see your final result after 90 days. You are already looking fine.

    • Thank you, I’m not sure anyone has ever commented on my feet before, they’re rather big and shovel like! Guess they give me great balance for yoga though 🙂 are you doing a workout routine?

  • You have a very inspiring story! To see where you are after such trials…amazing! I just started x3 this week and look forward to following your progress! Bring it!

    • Thank you Craig, I believe everything we go through in life is for a reason, it makes us stronger and more capable of teaching our children right from wrong and setting them on a good path. I’m loving P90X3 and I hope you will too, keep checking in with me and let me know how you’re getting on! 🙂

      • Week 2 has begun. I just love the Agility x workout. I needed to be scraped up off the floor at the end 🙂

Glad to hear you’re getting on well with the program. Its like a good drug isn’t it? Easy to get hooked.

        • Exercise is the best addiction ever! It makes you feel amazing and has no downside. I love Agility X too, it makes you so nimble and balanced we should take up tight-rope walking to use our new skills!

          • Not sure about tight rope walking lol. I’ll take it just to chase my kids around :-).

Week 3 done and still loving it! Keep up the great work Tracy. Very motivational.

      • You’re going to need to teach your children why their mothers mostly naked body is posted all over the internet. Does everyone workout at home in only a bra and underwear (not even a sports bra in some pictures) while taking a shit ton of picture of themselves? I clearly missed the memo

        • Thank you for your message Nonya, how kind of you to write in. Mostly naked is not the same as naked, as I wear a minimum of a bikini or lingerie, which being a lingerie model is pretty everyday attire for me on a shoot and I’m happy to wear this as a minimum requirement for photographs. Working out 6 days a week is not only incredibly tiring and demands dedication, it also involves a lot of sweat and overheating and heap loads of washing as I change my sports wear every day. On days when I do cardio I wear sports bras and shorts and on days when I do muscles I don’t need as much support so I literally empty all my draws for what items of clothing I have left that I can wear. Working out raises my core temperature, as it’s designed to do, and thankfully as I workout from home due to my lack of childcare it means that I can have all of my doors and windows open, wear whatever I like and take a cold shower after, I have no idea how people workout in a gym without fresh air and in restrictive clothing as it stunts me completely. I teach my children body confidence as I have recovered from a breast reconstruction and despite my scars and flaws I am thankful for my health and ability to improve myself. As I don’t workout to lose weight but to gain muscle and tone up I take daily pictures to document my progress on my stomach, arms and legs, which sadly isn’t visible in a tracksuit or shirt. I hope this has filled you in on the memo, and should you not wish to miss out on it next time you can join my mailing list for free, simply drop your email address into the box on the right. Have a nice day and happy new year!

        • All I can say Nonya is you have a very complex mindset. Think about the hard work she has done to present her outcome. The entire purpose of working out is looking handsome, slim, healthy and sexy. Would you have thought the same way is some boy was in this attire. Come on……..be positive…

        • Come on Nonya – It’s 2015! Why does a woman have to defend herself for what she wears during a workout? What she is wearing is NOT underwear. This is gym-wear. And nothing new. If it offends you, don’t come to this website. Children should be raised to not judge people by what they wear anyway. The whole point of the any P90X program is to take photos of one self each day in order to show the progress. Beachbody’s website invites people to submit these photos and I believe they use to pick winners for the most transformed bodies. But in order to see the transformation, they do need to wear an outfit that shows their physique. You need to do your research before you start making such accusations.

      • I like it a lot so far….the 30 min workouts are perfect…I did the original p90x about a year and a half ago and my only complaint was the length of the workouts.

        • Absolutely, it was difficult to find an hour and a half in my day to do the yoga set of P90X but they’ve mastered it a treat in P90X3 to have just half an hour a day, and the Pilates X is amazing for your abs!

          • I struggled with Pilates but I made it through. Excited to finish the transition week and move on to some new moves.

  • I just started p90x3 3 days ago. I’m almost checking your site daily lol. Thank you for posting this, very helpful!!! Have you notice any results yet? what part of your body do you feel have improved the most! I’m hopping to lose some belly fat, I’m happy with my weight but I feel skinny fat… if that makes sense lol

    • I absolutely know what you mean! I did this routine to tone up and get firm rather than drop a lot of weight. I’ve definitely noticed a big change in my stomach muscles, they’re strong and tight now and I can do situps a lot easier, my balance has also improved noticeably and my arms are strong and support my body weight. How are you getting on?

      • I’m loving it. I had my BA two months ago and couldn’t work out for that time. I still can’t do many exercises like pushups. I think I have already lost some belly fat and happy is only 30 min. No excuses for 30 min and easy to commit.

    • Thank you Jeremy, it helps to track your progress by taking a daily photo as the weighing scales do nothing when you replace fat with muscle. How far are you into X3, I hope you’re enjoying it too.

  • Great review and good job on your progress – that is awesome! I’m also doing P90X3 and just started the final Block of the program. I’m looking forward to seeing the progress as I’m gaining muscle and losing inches – it’s exciting! Thanks

    • Thank you Bob, what’s been your favourite routine? Please keep me updated on your progress and I wish you all the best!

  • Hey Tracy,

Looking good there with the all those post-workout photos. Really inspiring and i guess you should be in the 3rd block by now. Push on. A little bit left.

      • Yup.. I’m on it.. Still on my humble 2nd week at the moment.. Am enjoying killing myself with the routine..

        • Haha great to hear, it’s punishing but worth it. Make sure you rest up properly and always do the warm up and cool down to protect your muscles 🙂 well done you!

          • Thanks for the advice & encouragement there Tracy.. Will be looking forward to see the new and fitter you in the next 27 days.. 🙂

          • Hey there,

Wow, haven’t been back here since the last reply.. Congrats to you Tracy and yeah u look stunning there.. I’m on my 64th day now.. Gonna knock down those routines till the final day..

Again, keep rocking up with P90X3.. 😉
(You do look like you can kick someones butt with those new found muscles of yours :p)

            Stay beautiful dear..

  • Great Blog Tracy,
I’m starting p90x3 tomorrow so it will be interesting to compare notes as I work through the next 90days! Any chance of your brown rice and lentil recipe – it looks amazing! 🙂
    Jax

    • Hi Jax that’s fab news, please keep me up to date with your progress you’re going to love it! With brown rice you can add whatever you like really, I dice my vegetables and try to make them quite small so that each mouthful has a mix of all flavours. Typically I use carrot, celery, onion, peppers, mushroom, garlic, ginger and tomatoes which I fry in a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil. I then add one vegetable stock cube, a handful of cumin seeds and cover with brown rice. After a few minutes of frying in, cover with water, bring to the boil and simmer for between 20-30 minutes and eat hot or cold. You could also add chick peas, lentils, pulses or meat. Enjoy!

  • Awesome blog. Started today. I do other workouts at night, but was looking for something to get my mornings going. Thanks for the inspiration!

  • I have just started P90x3 hoping that the balance and flexibility will help as thats my biggest weakness by far! Well done for posting your results

  • I was reading this for the P90x3 review but then halfway through I almost had to bust out the lotion. Either way, this blog was effective.

  • Wow… Great work and great body to start with… You look great… keep it up.

I am at day 60 today, first round. I am 36yrs, 173cm and started at 81kg. I am now 79kg but my more muscles. I intend to have 3 rounds of p90x3 to reach to six packs and below 10% body fat!

My question to you is: After finishing the round, shall I have a week rest or start straight after the first round? do you suggest that I change the program and do something else?

    Cheers

  • I second the comments about your feet. Gorgeous. Simply gorgeous. Just like the rest of you. The question I had is do you always workout barefoot? I do, and I know TH always says to wear some sneakers that are well-padded. Did you find working out barefoot was just easier for you? I haven’t had any problems so far, but I also don’t want to be doing any lasting damage to my joints either.

    • Thank you I used to workout in trainers in my lounge but found when jumping and balancing it was easier to remain barefoot. I did the whole of P90X3 barefoot on carpet and on a few occasions I workout out on laminate.

  • Thank you so much for doing this! I am considering the program and this information was just what I was looking for. 🙂 Amazing job by the way, you rocked it girl!

  • I don’t want to gain muscles. I just want to lose fat on my arms. I am following the lean schedule. Is this right for me?

  • I’ve lost 3 stone this year and I’m starting p90x3 in a few weeks to lose the another 3 stone.

I haven’t exercised much for a few years – do you think this program is suitable for beginners who are new to fitness programs?

  • Love this blog! I can’t see you being a single parent for much longer with a body like that, I admire your courage.

  • hey i know u finished dont know if u can still be read this but i started 2 weeks ago did not notice so much change cuz by body is not but it aint that good either iam 17 last year in highschool so i got to study hard and workout and the gym is not an option to much time wasted anyway i think my abs are kinda stronger but i have belly fat so

  • Hi Tracy. You look awesome! I was wondering if you did another round of p90x3 and how long did you wait in between? Thanks. Keep it up. You’re an ispiration. 🙂

    • You can stand on a chair to begin with or use resistance bands and build up your strength as you’re not expected to do everything right away, just work to your ability and you will see improvements day by day. Good luck and let me know how you get on!

  • Hi Tracy. I have stumbled across your blog after a Google search looking for another workout. I have tried insanity twice and only complete the first half due to the longer workouts in the second half. 12 hour shifts are a killer when wanting to fit in a work out. I was unaware that X3 was the 30 minute version and after seeing your progress and all the comments I have just ordered X3. So will be starting soon.

  • I just had my first child (4 months old now) and struggling to make time to work out as I work full time and only have childcare during my work hours. I found your blog while looking up reviews of p90x3 – I just wanted to say you have an amazing body – your “before” is what I can only dream about as my “after”! thanks for sharing your p90 experience

    • Thank you Hannah and congratulations on your new bundle of joy! What I love most about the P90X3 workout is that it’s manageable to fit in at home around a family and although you’ll no doubt be feeling worn out right now, working out will massively improve your strength and stamina and day by day it will get easier. I wish you all the best with your fitness journey and please let me know how you get on 🙂

  • Hello Tracy,

I read your review of the P90X3 program. It sounds really interesting and I am thinking of buying it, Though the program is advertised as a 90 days program, and I was wondering what happens after those 90 days. does the kit include instructions on how to train after the program to keep the shape?

    Thanks Maurizio

    • Hi Maurizio, great news that you’re thinking of trying P90X3 you’ll love it! After the program finishes you can repeat it as many times as you like at whichever intensity you choose to suit your ability. You also have the ability to mix up your workouts and do whichever DVD you like when you like if there’s a particular area that you want to work on. I hope this helps and that you’ll come back and let me know how you get on with it! 🙂

  • Thanks for a very comprehensive review, Tracy. Do you have any details on your diet during the program somewhere? I am a vegan and would love to hear more about your nutrition.

    • Thank you Niru, I have a lot of brown rice with vegetables, soya mince and cashew nuts and almonds. I’m also a massive banana and apple addict and drink plenty of green tea. I hope this helps and wish you all the best on your fitness journey! 🙂

  • I have completed the lean calendar several times and I am just wondering if you have found any other workout video series out there that is similar in format to P90X3? I like that it is 30 min, minimal equipment required and easy to do in a small space (such as my home). Also, are there any types of workouts (video or written) you have found easy to do for lifting in your home? I do not know if that is possible with what I have at home (5, 10, 15, and 25 pound dumbbell) to do some type of lifting? (mainly for my glutes)

    • That sounds fab, great work! I’m pleased that you enjoy Beachbody as much as I do 🙂 Focus T25 is equally a great short workout that gets really good results. I also found BodyBeast fantastic for upper body strength and the Brazil Butt Lift amazing for my glutes. Please let me know how you get on and what works best for you 🙂

    • You can use the same DVD’s to workout in whatever frequency you like, perhaps a different session 2-3 times per week along with daily exercise such as walking. Whatever you feel comofortable with.

  • Wow! I did the original P90X years ago. I sure wish I would’ve kept track of everything just like you did with your website. Genius! Glad to see you got the results that you did. Hard work always pays off!

  • Hey…..Regards from Germany. I was used to workout with p90x3 2-3times per week. However, after seing your 90 day challenge I decided to take on the challenge. Day 2 today, it’s 10:30 pm, but girl you are right:no excuses. Hope I will be able to workout every day even during my exam period within my studies. Great job.

  • Well done Tracy. You will be a great mother to your kids. I wish me and my wife could imbibe all the goodness you have to our children.

I loved the way you took the picture, you are elegant and inspirational…
    Well done.
I am going to start double of p90x3 to lose weight.
