Maxi dresses are my total summer staple especially when it comes to special occasions because they look so effortlessly elegant and floral prints will never go out of fashion. When I spotted this beautiful maxi at Sammy Dress I just couldn’t wait to try it on because it puts me in mind of a Disney princess.

Here I am wearing a size UK8 made from polyester in an A-line strapless style which finishes at floor length. The close-fit dress has a concealed rear zip allowing it to fit like a glove and as I’m rather busty up top I’m wearing mine without a bra although it could easily conceal a nude strapless bra. I love how it creates an hourglass figure and really emphasises my waist to make me look super tall. I can’t help but swish and twirl as I walk around in it because it’s so floaty and pretty.
It has an underskirt to prevent it from being see-through and seeing as it finishes at floor length it means that I can wear it with strappy sandals or jazzy flip-flops and nobody will realise I’m not in heels because my feet ache after a few hours of teetering along when I’m so used to sensible footwear. This Sammy Dress is the perfect wedding attire for this season and beyond and is sure to turn heads for all of the right reasons.
