Considering it has literally been wet and grey 24/7 this week, it seemed only fitting that I update my knitwear and rainy-day attire with my latest fashion haul at FemmeLuxe Finery.
I’ve gone for all things thick, warm, cuddly and snuggly with some of my favourite jumpers and jackets which I just know you’re going to love!
Starting off my weekly wardrobe staples this week is my love for jackets and in particular this gorgeous little stone piece which is totally giving me I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here jungle vibes!
Whilst it doesn’t have a hood, a slight oversight for wet weather, it is beautifully neutral, easy to nip-in at the waist and detailed with deep pockets and a button-up front which looks so sophisticated over a pair of skinny jeans or to wrap over an LBD of an evening.
Next up is my adoration for jumper dresses and I just love the cable knit detail of this piece!
Soft, stretchy, warm and forgiving, jumper dresses are the ideal way to keep cosy whilst still being uber fashionable. Wether you wear them with leggings for ultimate casual, go bare leg or even a sheer or opaque tight, this is without a doubt a wardrobe essential for at least the next three months!
Moving on to high neck jumpers and this stone coloured beauty instantly caught my eye. Finishing at a minidress length it’s perfect for wearing with high gloss black leggings to add a splash of va-va-voom to your day!
For rocking around the house I find high neck jumpers so cute to team with a pair of bow-front pyjama bottoms or shorts and fluffy socks – so effortlessly fashionable and cutesy in one.
Finishing up with my tribute to chunky knits and this weeks haul wouldn’t be complete without roll neck jumpers for which I adore this grey military-inspired beauty.
Vertical ribbing is a great way to slim down the body and elongate the legs, whilst the shiny button detail to the waist helps to create an hourglass figure. Roll necks are great for keeping warm in this frosty weather and look adorable when worn beneath a contrasting coloured blazer or jacket.
Toasty, cosy and adequately shopped out without bracing the crazy queues and cluttered carparks of the high street; I love how quick, easy and convenient it is to have a scroll online to pick out my fashion fave’s from FemmeLuxe Finery.
When I was a child it used to be somewhat of a punishment to put your jumper on or you’ll catch your death of cold!
