Neon is so hot right now, it’s the ultimate staple statement this summer and I just can’t get enough of it! Here I’ve pieced together a few of my weekly picks from FemmeLuxe Finery to help you to bring a pop of colour into your life!
I think it’s only right to jump in with both feet and go all out loud with this stunning neon blouse. What I love about neon is it’s ability to bring any outfit instantly to life as most of us will already have a whole wardrobe of dark and sensible colours and cuts that can compliment colour without clashing.
Here I’ve teamed a classic black mini skirt and heels with a tie front shirt and love the Spanish vibes I’m getting from this ensemble. Whilst my shirt is loud I’d keep other colours and accessories to a minimum and let this pretty sunshine-coloured satin do the talking!
For those who feel a little apprehensive about embracing ing bold colours Have a couple of looks to ease you in gently, as an all black outfit can easily be accessorised with neon coloured nails, a statement necklace or funky coloured clutch bag.
Skirts are a must and us ladies need to be far braver when baring our pins! Here I’ve found a gorgeous snake print number with a paperbag ruffle top and high waist perfect for adding a subtle sparkle to a night out. Whether you team it with a plain crop top, neon vest or glitzy bright nails you really can’t go wrong with such a stylish staple for every season.
Bodysuits literally give me life and this beauty ticks all of my boxes for sizzling summer style – neon, floral, high-leg and lace! WOW! I mean, this is just everything and then some! For a pool party, photoshoot or as sexy lingerie bodysuits slay.
Worn with jeans, denim shorts or dungarees this bodysuit is so cutesy, with a miniskirt, wet look leggings and heels it’s all out sass! How do you most like to wear yours?
Crochet dresses are the perfect transition between beachwear and daywear and always make their way into my suitcase for holiday. What I love most about this black beauty is the ability to wear a bright bikini beneath to make a killer neon-contrast.
For those who want something a little more subtle than a bodysuit this is the perfect piece and also looks great worn with nude colour lingerie or fancy black lace on a night out. The crochet detail is geometrically on trend and the fabric so soft, stretchy and comfortable to wear – exactly how every good outfit should be.
These have been my favourite neon staples and I hope you’ve enjoyed them, whether you go all out with a colour block or keep something dark and classic that you can easily accessorise with a pop of colour.
Life is so much more fun when you take a walk on the wild side. A cool cocktail and sun kissed tan can make a world of difference to your self confidence – just how brave will you be this summer?
