This weeks FemmeLuxe Finery fashion haul is something that I like to call my Pink Princess Edit, because as you can see, each item is a beautiful peachy/pink colour!
Here I’ve picked out four of my favourite items that really make me feel like a Princess and hope that this collection of tops, dresses and a two-piece make you feel just as special too…
First up let’s celebrate mini dresses because they’re always a sure-fire way to make a girl look and feel great! When you cover the body you lengthen the legs, thereby appearing taller and slimmer.
What really makes this pretty vertical-ribbed beauty Princess-worthy are the beautiful puff ball floral full-length sleeves and it’s super soft and cosy too!
A Princess edit wouldn’t be complete without including ruffle tops as it’s the glamour, opulence and luxury of having gathered fabric that makes an outfit pop.
This gorgeous nude-coloured layered mesh ruffle top makes me feel like Belle from Beauty And The Beast which I’ve teamed here with some ripped shorts for daytime glam, but would look equally cute in the evening with some wetlook leggings, killer heels and a high ponytail!
Whilst bodycon dresses may not instantly put you in mind of a Princess, this two-piece is totally giving me Barbie doll vibes; dollies and Princesses are a pretty similar thing when you’re growing up, right?
In a stunning shade of neon pink it’s definitely a head turner, and with the top tying to the skirt with a series of bows I feel super sassy when I slip this on.
Finally I thought I’d wrap this weeks haul up with a nod towards long sleeve tops as I spotted this at the same time that I saw the floral long-sleeve dress. These pieces are in fact matching and again I love how fancy the sleeves look.
If you’re not feeling brave enough in this cold weather to go bare-legged then a pretty ornate jumper with some understated skinny jeans or leggings can look just as cute.
This has been such a fun haul for me and I’ve enjoyed adding some pretty, feminine Princess-inspired pieces to my wardrobe. If you’re looking to add a royal twist to your closet then think about trying a new colour, exploring with prints and patterns and embracing close fits with exaggerated and over-sized sleeves.
We all deserve to look and feel our best in whatever we choose to wear – so treat yourself to something that makes you feel as wonderful and special as you are!
