It’s sunny, everyday feels like the weekend and the summer tunes are flowing, so it’s only natural to get excited and get dressed up, right?
We’re on our fifth week of lockdown because of the Coronavirus pandemic and I’m craving rooftop cocktails and balmy evenings in the city once again. But as we all have to stay at home and social distance, if we can’t go out and party then the party shall have to come to us!
Here are my favourite quarantine sass selections this week from my favourite online fashion-hub FemmeLuxe Finery!
I’m getting quite a collection of satin mini dresses now as I love how slinky and sexy it looks on the body.
This stunning ruched rust number matches my hair perfectly ( I would say my nails too, but let’s not mention my hideously outgrown acrylics!) and looks fab with a little touch of the April-garden-tan that’s developing from my daily sun-lounger session.
Now, I’ve also got a few long sleeve dresses which are fab for the winter, but when I spotted this gorgeous caped beauty my jaw literally hit the floor.
Forget jackets, say ta-ta to chunky winter knits and welcome this sleek, sophisticated and super-sassy bodycon and cape combo. This has absolutely smashed my wardrobe into the style stratosphere and I can’t wait to wear it to a social event ASAP!
Something I’m really loving right now are ribbed loungewear sets which is why I chose this pretty ribbed two piece in my favourite shade of rust.
Seeing as I’ve over-consumed on carbs and not being as active as I would in the free world where I would usually hit the gym everyday and walk two hours to take my children to and from school, it’s safe to say that I’m getting a little squishy around the edges. Soft, stretchy, comfortable and super stylish, this co-ord ticks all of my quarantine boxes and the flared bottoms are just divine!
I’ve always found black mesh dresses to be a thing of fantasy. Like a sexy evil movie villain, I love how feminine and fierce cut-out panels and curve-hugging black mini dresses can be.
Whilst my tattoos stand out on the side mesh panels, the V-neck mesh between the bust is just the right amount of skin on show to be sexy without being too in-your-face. And the wide straps and figure-hugging booty top it off perfectly.
These have been my favourite picks this week as we hopefully edge closer to a new kind of freedom and normality.
I hope you’re holding onto positivity as I am and looking forward to seeing friends, family and colleagues once again. How beautiful, memorable and meaningful it will be when we can all reunite – and I know just what to wear for some well-missed selfies with my bestie!
