Amazon Wishlist High Waisted Navy Stripe Bikini

There’s something incredibly elegant and classy about retro two-pieces that make me want to roll my hair up into a bun and paint my lips pin-up rouge red. High waisted bikinis are the must have style steals this season as the classical cut is so girly and flirtatious in an innocent girl-next-door kind of way. And this little beauty kindly purchased from my Amazon Wishlist by a lovely reader is the perfect way to conceal too many cocktails and croissants this holiday season.

Amazon Wishlist High Waisted Navy Stripe Bikini

The two piece navy and white striped set features a pair of high waisted briefs with silver stud detailing to the front and a bandeau style bra with removable straps for extra support. As I have a rather ample bosom I am wearing the set with the use of the halter straps and love the shape and support that this bikini provides.

The briefs are cut high on the hips elongating the legs whilst concealing the buttocks and stomach, so if like me you’ve got a stubborn Mummy tummy you can conveniently cover it up without having to wear a full on swimsuit. The horizontal stripes help to slim down the torso by drawing the eyeline outwards instead of down the body, and here I’ve teamed my two piece with naturally frizzy beachbum hair, minimal makeup, a bold pink lipstick and a pair of cork sandals. You can easily dress this look up with a large straw hat, oversized sunglasses and a navy sarong for a sophisticated lunch in paradise, or lounge around a pool bar in Ibiza with statement body chain jewellery and wedge heels.
