Being vegan I tend to avoid fashion made from animals as it’s not something that I’d like to support so I’ve stopped buying leather and prefer man-made fabrics instead for which this gorgeous brown jacket from Sammy Dress is right up my street!

Here I am wearing a size UK8 jacket made from polyester with full length sleeves, a detachable hood and four front pockets. In a rich caramel colour it teams nicely with my blonde hair and I particularly like the double layering of a fleece sewn in beneath the jacket. The material hood is detachable with a few buttons to unfasten it and the cuffs, waist and shoulders feature striped detailing to give it a somewhat military feel.
This jacket is fairly loose fit and comfortable allowing me to move around and not feel too confined or hot as leather products often do. It’s incredibly soft and lightweight and my new go-to jacket for chilly evenings out and windy strolls. Brown is a colour that looks fantastic with denim for smart casual daywear or without the hood over an LBD for a glamorous evening out.
