I had the honour of attending the Organic Works event in London this week, celebrating the beauty of nature, with the brands heritage deeply rooted in the pristine Scottish landscape. Dedicated to providing a luxurious range of sustainable skincare, bath, body, and hair products, they have a strong commitment to organic farming and using natural ingredients. Organic Works offer an holistic approach to beauty that is both kind to all skin types and the planet. So let’s take a closer look at what makes them so wonderful…
A Range Rooted In Nature
Founded by Alan Mackenzie in 2003, Organic Works prides itself on crafting products alongside organic specialists, with ingredients that are lovingly nurtured by the Scottish landscape. This dedication ensures that at least 99% of their plant-based ingredients are derived from organic sources, and a minimum of 98% natural ingredients are found in all their offerings. As well as being natural, vegan friendly, cruelty free and kind to all skin types, I adore the ethos of OW.
Throughout their open event, I was able to sample and ask questions about their product range which consists of:
- Renewal Night Moisturiser: a rich a restorative cream supporting the skins natural repair process as you sleep. Nourishing, rejuvenating and refreshing, it reveals the most smooth and uplifting complexion by morning which shea butter for moisture and elasticity, lavender oil for its calming scent as well as anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Its chamomilla flower extract also calms and soothes the skin to reduce redness and irritation, whilst providing antioxidant benefits.
- Super Intensive Moisturiser: another rich moisturiser for deep hydration, nourishment, soothing and antioxidant protection to support a healthy skin barrier and calm sensitivity, perfect for tackling dryness and ageing skin. With theobroma cacao seed butter to fight free radicals and improve elasticity, grape see oil for hydration, repair and protection against environmental stressors, and green tea leaf extract to soothe inflammation and protect against environmental damage.
- Bergamot Shower Gel: an invigorating and uplifting sensory experience to cleanse and moisturise, whilst evening out skin tone and providing a radiant complexion. Bergamot provides antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties to balance, refresh and brighten the skin, whilst orange evens the skin tone and aloe vera moisturises, soothes, purifies and promotes elasticity.
- Cleansing Facial Wash: gently purifies the skin without stripping natural moisture. Infused with soothing botanicals for a clean, soft and balanced complexion with powerful antioxidant Vitamin E for hydration and protection against environmental stressors. Rose geranium nurtures, defends and enhances vitality. Aloe vera refreshes, replenishes and hydrates.
- Daily Bliss Cream: light everyday moisturiser for hydration and protection for a healthy, radiant glow. Fast-absorbing, it leaves the skin feeling smooth and supple all day long, with grape seed oil, salicylic acid and may chang for a fresh, citrus scent and antimicrobial benefits.
- Bergamot Hand & Body Lotion: combines bergamot essential oil with shea butter for soft, revitalised skin. Rich in Vitamins C & E. it helps to maintain skin elasticity whilst brightening and evening out the skin tone. Coconut oil softens and strengthens the skin barrier, along with soothing shea butter, complimented by the refreshing scent and antioxidant benefits of bergamot and orange.
- Lavender Hand & Body Wash: Enriched with lavender and geranium essential oils, as well as Vitamin E, this wash gently cleanses and hydrates. Clinically tested, it’s suitable for sensitive and eczema prone skin alike, making it beautifully family friendly and leaving the skin feeling soft and subtly scented. With lavender, geranium and aloe vera, it supports skin healing, soothes irritation, balances, revitalises and offers antibacterial support.
- Lavender Hand & Body Lotion: pure hydration and softness, the luxurious blend of lavender, rosemary essential oils, cocoa and shea butters enriched with Vitamin E leaves skin looking young, fresh and protected against factors of ageing. Calming, anti-inflammatory and kind to sensitive and irritated skin, I adore how the aloe vera, coconut oil and shea butter deeply moisturise my skin and support barrier repair.

As a mother with sensitive skin, rosacea and many food intolerances, finding skincare that is natural, safe and effective for my family is key to our everyday wellness and Organic Works tick all of the boxes for me. Listing the natural and organic percentages of their ingredients provides such clear product transparency that many large skincare ranges would never dare to do.
Just as we should educate our children on the importance of cooking and preparing fresh, unprocessed foods as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle, we must also consider what we put onto our skin in the very same way.
