This weeks fashion haul from my favourite online retailer FemmeLuxe is what I like to call my easy outfits edit because everything I’ve carefully selected this week is so quick and easy to throw on for both smart, casual and evening wear!
I’ve tried to keep my collection colourful, fun, on trend and cost effective and just know that you’ll love these beauties as much as I do!
Whilst we tend to think of traditional t-shirts as boxy, baggy squares which can be rather unflattering to curves, this cute little v-neck caught my eye for its beautiful shape!
In a soft lilac shade it’s both feminine and playful thanks to its short sleeves and second skin fit. I love how casual and relaxed yet cheeky and flirtatious this top is, certainly taking the image of a traditionally covered-up t-shirt up a whole level.
One thing that I’m actually becoming really aware of during lockdown is the comfort and practicality of clothing which is why I’m so hooked on joggers as the storage potential in these bad boys is off the chart!
Keys, phone and face mask; they all slip seamlessly and safely into the utility pockets whether I’m at home or going to the supermarket and the slim fit military style detailing is giving me so many Tomb Raider heroine vibes right now.
Something that always makes a night feel special for me is slipping into something slinky which is why I firmly believe that every girl should have a collection of satin tops in her wardrobe.
Here I’ve picked out a one shoulder, high neck royal blue beauty and just love how it shimmers and catches the light, coordinating perfectly with my blue eyes and popping against my pale winter skin, I’m on cloud nine the second that I slip it on.
Finally I thought that we could finish up this week with something from FemmeLuxe’s loungewear sets as I already have this in lilac and love it so much that I went back this week to get it in stone!
Oversize joggers are amazing for cosy nights in and perfect when nursing a bloated tummy which is an ongoing peeve of mine when Aunt Flo comes to visit. What I love most about this soft and stretch set is the hoodie which features a blunt crop with long adjustable drawstrings making it super easy and convenient to cool off so that I’m no longer chasing the central heating up and down feeling chilly one minute and overheated the next when wearing a jumper or regular hoodie – cropping is indeed the very best of both worlds not to mention totally on trend right now!
All of my picks are super quick, easy go-to pieces to add a splash of colour and fun to your wardrobe this season. Whether you throw on a nice top for a zoom with friends, snuggle up in loungewear or nip out to the supermarket with plenty of pockets instead of a bag, I hope that you’ll find these picks perfect for your everyday style.
I’d like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and New Year as approach the final days of 2020 and what is mostly likely the most bizarre year the world has ever seen. I hope that you all stay safe and well, are kind to yourself and others and remember to take care and treat yourself every now and then because you are worth it and you deserve it! Here’s to 2021!
