With the weather looking glorious as we creep into the end of summer, I thought what better way to celebrate this season than with a cheeky little cropped haul!
Here I’ve hand picked my favourite items from FemmeLuxe Finery that puts a little more skin on show to make the most of those summer rays whilst we still have them!
So let’s kick this off with some appreciation for black co-ords shall we!? I just love how effortlessly classical black two-pieces look – whether you wear them to the office or on a night out they just have an air of sophistication and sass about them.
This is the first time that I’ve worn a split top co-ord which exposes the underside of the cleavage and chest, it can sit as high or low as you wish depending on how daring you feel – I just love how eye-catching it is to have a split at the bottom, instead of top, of the cleavage. The flared trousers help to create a stunning hourglass figure to set this co-ord off.
I really can’t get enough of ruched tops at the moment, I love how feminine and dreamy they are – especially in crochet! This literally ticks all of the boxes for on-trend summer style right now and I’m channeling boho chic vibes a-plenty!
Here I’ve teamed this gorgeous orange top with simple black cycle shorts as I live in gym wear, but it would look equally pretty with some denim shorts, black leggings or an ankle-length skirt. Proof that you can be sporty and feminine at the same time.
Next up I’ve added to my collection of black playsuits with this stunning one-shoulder piece. Asymmetry in fashion makes every outfit instantly stand out as it draws the eye along the curves of the body and makes such a beautiful feature of the neck and shoulders.
I love the pretty tie detail at the waist and of course the fact that this playsuit feels just like wearing a pair of shorts – precisely how I feel most at ease and comfortable. It’s a beautiful fit as always from FemmeLuxe and so easy to wear.
Finishing up, I was looking for some lightweight long sleeve tops now that the nights are getting a little cooler and darker sooner. You know when you get to the evening and start to shiver? Or pop out for lunch and realise that it’s a touch more breezy than you were expecting?
We all need a go-to summer-friendly long sleeve to throw on for those in-between times with the weather when we need to cover up and I’m mesmerised by this gorgeous orange polka dot piece. It’s just so bright, uplifting and pretty and looks adorable with the at sleeves full length or gathered to the elbow.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this weeks cropped haul and can take some inspiration to try a new cut or style that you’ve maybe not experimented with before.
I’m getting feels for autumn and all of the chunky knits and rustic colours which I’m really looking forward to – only I don’t want to let go of summer just yet. Perhaps it’s time for a getaway? What are you focusing your retail requirements on?
