Partying With The Cast Of TOWIE

Last week I flopped on the sofa, put my feet after a long day and checked my emails on my phone; I was pleasantly surprised to find an email from the film crew of TOWIE inviting me to come and party with them. I am a HUGE TOWIE fan and have watched every episode from day one, so when I saw the invite I squealed and almost deafened Luca who was nestled beside me. After a night out on Saturday, and somewhat hungover by Sunday morning I did the shopping and cooked a Sunday roast for lunch for both our parents on Father’s Day before hopping in the car and driving to Chigwell, Essex for a gold themed party in celebration of Charlie and Fearne’s three year anniversary and it was fab!

Arg was absolutely hilarious and the life and soul of the party, Sam and Billie looked so beautiful in their dresses.

Little Chris was a complete diamond! He was so lovely, down to earth, funny and patient. We swapped some great beauty tips and chatted about work and I walked away feeling like I’d met the most genuine person ever.

What can I say about these stunning ladies! They are so perfect, glam and amazing, the belles of the ball!

Bobby Norris And I

Bobby was hilarious, he had me laughing on set to the point that my face and stomach actually hurt. He is so fast thinking and witty he totally deserves to be on camera more!

Tom Pearce And I

Tom Pearce absolutely done me over, when I stood next to him I towered him in my heels so he told me to squat down to take a picture so he doesn’t look bad! Thanks to my Insanity squats I’m holding stance at least a foot lower than normal! Funny guy and such a joker.

Charlie Essex And I

It was Charlie and Fearne’s three year anniversary party and he was adorable, we had a long chat before filming wrapped at the end of the night and he was such a sweet and genuine guy.

Charlie King And I

I’ve always liked Charlie in TOWIE but after meeting him I can officially saw I LOVE him. He is so sweet, so kind and so incredibly funny. After shooting twenty minutes of footage, it’s true what he says, they cut it all out and only use a small clip, but if you saw the whole thing you’d be rolling on the floor laughing your head off. The innuendo’s him and Bobby drop are side-splitting and you can’t help but want to sit and watch their banter.

Mario Falcone And I

I didn’t know what to expect from Mario as he doesn’t always come across in the best way on TV, and other times he seems so lovely. But in person he was a true gentleman, smart, sophisticated, sweet and polite. I have nothing but praise for Mario.

We rolled home just before 2am after an epic weekend and slept like logs! And to make it all the more sweeter I spoke to the police about the hit and run incident on my car and they’ve caught the driver and are now starting proceedings for prosecution. Woo-hoo! My faith in the justice system is gradually being restored but now karma needs to get itself into gear and sort out my UKPC parking fine, tell the staff to accept my proof of parking and cross my name off of their ‘naughty people’ list because I’m innocent! *sigh*

Millie And Gabriele On The Slide At Zoomania

Millie And Gabriele On The Slide At Zoomania

After a pretty average week we got more than a little tipsy at a friends surprise BBQ Saturday night and with a mere four hours sleep I reapplied my makeup, glugged back a pint of water and headed into town to do the weekly food shop, buy the children some clothes and briefly visit the family. Boy oh boy and I feeling it now, I look like a panda for my dark circles, I’m twitchy, overheating and my skin wants to cry from dehydration, why does it always seem such a good idea to drink trebles? After the Sunday carnage of the supermarket and weekend-queue at the car wash, we took Millie and Gabriele to Zoomania indoor kids play for an afternoon and they had great fun. They climbed the squashy barricades like little monkeys, whizzed down the slides and giggled and smiled with their rosy red faces before returning home for dinner, a bath and bed. Aww, our little angels.

Millie's Adult Teeth Are Cutting Through

Millie’s Adult Teeth Are Cutting Through

Millie is extremely excited to point out to everybody how her bottom ‘big teeth’ are now cutting through, and that she is expecting a visit from the tooth fairy very soon. I can’t imagine Millie with a gap between her teeth or even a mouth filled with square white adult pegs. It’s strange to think of our little girl having ‘adult teeth’ because she still seems so young at the age of five, and her milk teeth are so tiny and gummy, it’s adorable.

Millie Has Been Brushing Up On Her Manners And Behaving Exceptionally

Millie Has Been Brushing Up On Her Manners And Behaving Exceptionally

I’m so proud of my little Millie recently. About a month ago she went through a faze of feeling restless and being naughty, doing and saying things that she knew was wrong for the sheer purpose of getting attention. I realise it must be difficult going from having been an only child to suddenly having a baby brother to take up the majority of our time and attention; thankfully it seems she’s come out of the other side of her emotions now and moving on from the set-back relatively quickly. It’s helped giving her a more structured set of rules and routine, she’s always had a set of rules which we refer to for manners and house-keeping in her room, but they needed reviewing and updating as Millie has grown and matured. It’s fantastic having my helpful little chicklet back to her usual self again, smiling and playing and going out of her way to help us all. I just want her to be feel content and realise how much we love her and love both the children equally. Raising children is difficult, full stop, there’s no right or wrong way to do it because everybody is different and things that work for some just won’t for others.

I hope that the children realise I’ve always tried my hardest for them, and that I’m here no matter what always ready to listen, love and learn together. They’re my absolute world and I’m so blessed to have them, I could squash them in my arms and blow raspberries all over them until my lips go numb! 🙂

This week is the countdown to my next surgery as I’ll be travelling to Wales for liposuction in order to harvest natural fat from around my body to inject into my chest and complete my breast surgery as I lost all of my natural breast tissue after having children. So I’m rushing about making lists, preparing freezer meals and tying up lose ends in preparation for my potential month-long bed rest and healing. Eek! In seven days time I’ll have just come round from theatre, bandaged up and looking like I’ve done ten rounds with Mike Tyson! I’ve actually had to increase my food intake, which is pretty excessive anyway, in order to put on some extra weight so that the liposuction is successful, which sounds absolutely crazy, but what a crazy life I lead!
