VegFest 2025: A Roaring Success!

Wow! What an incredible time shared at VegFest 2025! I was absolutely thrilled to have been a part of the speaker lineup for the event, and I truly hope that everyone who attended left feeling as energised and inspired as I did.

Connecting with so many likeminded individuals, and sharing my passion as a vegan, was such a profound experience. For those who missed it, and the many still buzzing from the sheer energy, here are some highlights from the UK’s biggest vegan celebration, and the powerful message that we all carried home…

What VegFest 2025 Accomplished

VegFest 2025 once again proved its status as the organiser of the UK’s biggest vegan events. The atmosphere was absolutely electric, cementing its place as a cornerstone event for the plant-based community.

The fundamental reason for VegFest’s existence is to serve as a pivotal platform for positive change, and this event delivered on that promise entirely by focusing on the crucial pillars of the vegan movement:

  • Animal Rights and Activism: The dedicated talks rooms contained powerful voices advocating for compassion and highlighting the ongoing fight for animal liberation.
  • Planetary Health: We mindfully explored countless sustainable solutions, showcasing how plant-based choices profoundly benefit the environment.
  • Personal Wellness: The sheer number of attendees interested in fitness, healthspan, and longevity demonstrated how central personal wellbeing is to the modern vegan lifestyle, which is a topic that is very close to my heart.

This was more than just a social gathering; it was a massive, collective educational moment that celebrated compassion and proved that a life free from animal products is indeed vibrant, delicious, and utterly empowering.

An Unforgettable Experience

For those who were able to attend, VegFest 2025 was a sensory delight. A truly immersive experience where every hall and corner offered such uplifting discovery and joy. The sheer volume of traders and exhibitors serving up gourmet street food, innovative comfort classics, and essential plant-based products created a true foodie paradise, as there was something delicious for absolutely everyone.

The talks rooms were a hive of intellectual activity. From deep dives into animal rights to practical sessions on fitness and nutrition; the learning opportunities were unparalleled and help to dispel the rumours and mistruths about veganism which I feel is incredibly important when encouraging others to make the change.

The live music and comedy stages were absolutely fantastic and celebrated the very best of the movement during the anticipated VegfestUK Awards.

My Role On The Vegan Women’s Club Panel

I was honoured to take to the stage as a guest on the fantastic Vegan Women’s Club panel discussion. It was wonderful opportunity to share my journey and experiences as a vegan athlete with such an engaged audience, focusing on how a vegan diet fuels peak performance and overall wellbeing. I hope that it provided others with the motivation and tangible advice to live healthier, happier lives free from cruelty.

  • Biohacking & Longevity: Strategies for optimising health and extending wellness through intentional, plant-based choices.
  • Bodybuilding & Fitness: I loved getting to dispel those lingering myths about needing meat for muscle mass and discussing how I maintain a high-energy, active lifestyle.
  • Media and Motherhood: We had an engaging discussion about balancing a compassionate ethos while raising a family and navigating the media landscape.

The Lasting Legacy: Sharing Compassion Beyond The Fayre

While VegFest 2025 may be over, the movement gloriousluy continues. The most vital takeaway from this event is the importance of carrying such enthusiasm and compassion for veganism and animal rights back into our everyday life. We must warmly share this ethos with our wider friends and family to truly nurture change.

It was wonderful to see many attendees bring their curious non-vegan friends, showing them that veganism is diverse, accessible, and exciting rather than restrictive. Instead of confrontation, the atmosphere was one of celebration, love and kindness, as people learned about animal rights and environmental impact in a positive light, which I find to be far more effective than judgment or criticism.

As I discussed on the panel, embodying health and happiness as a vegan is the greatest form of activism. When your loved ones see the vitality and joy present in living by this ethos, it opens the door for genuine compassionate conversation. Thank you to everyone who made the event such a spectacular success. Let’s keep the momentum going and be the change that we wish to see!
