When it comes to working out there’s nothing that I hate more than heavy, hot and restrictive clothing. It’s hard enough working up a sweat at the gym without feeling claustrophobic and unsupported by what I’m wearing which is why athletic clothing from My Protein is so ahead of the game.
MyProtein Athletic Tights & Power Bra
Here I am wearing a size UK8 athletic tights and a size medium power bra in contrasting designs. The athletic tights, or leggings if you will, are made from a spandex blend which make them supportive and strong, perfect solid colour gym wear that won’t go see-through when you squat. With a rubbery lining to the waist they hold perfectly in place and do not pinch the skin, sag or fall down which leaves me confident and comfortable to go hard at my workout. The sweat-wicking material ensures the skin stays dry throughout and doesn’t chafe because of the flat lock seams; and I just love the bold purple and blue cross print because it looks like little lips locked in cages.
Here I’ve teamed my leggings with a purple bra which is from a different set but ties in pretty nicely to the purple accent and doesn’t look too matchy-matchy. As I have a 30FF bust this medium bra fits me beautifully thanks to it’s adjustable shoulder straps and stretch. Constructed from double fabric with a racer back, the soft spandex holds me in place even when running and jumping and has the same sweat-wicking technology as my leggings so I don’t get that awful under-boob dampness no matter how hard I workout. The elasticated waistband is very soft on the skin and doesn’t dig in to my ribs or mark me but holds nicely throughout and is easy to get off and on.
