Allure Couture Bespoke Swarovski Crystal Bikini

When it comes to real breathtaking moments I think there are a few occasions that stay with us a lifetime; the moment somebody first whispers the words “I love you” the first time you try on your wedding dress, the moment you first hold your newborn baby, and for me today I had the very same butterflies opening the golden presentation box and seeing my stunning Allure Couture bikini for the very first time.

To celebrate turning thirty years old in 2017 I will be entering my very first bikini contest and this bespoke Swarovski crystal beauty will be with me every step of the way. Intricately handmade from hundreds of crystals, pearls, roses, lace, beads, tassels and a whole lot of silver sequins, designer and creator Lucy Ashworth has exquisitely captured my attitude and enthusiasm towards fitness with this angelic piece.

I met up with Lucy a few weeks ago for a design brief and measuring session where I was able to try on some gorgeous handmade bikinis, look at a selection of colours and discuss the final look and style that I wanted for my custom piece. Seeing as my tattoos are of butterflies, angel wings, feathers and flowers we decided on a bright and uplifting colour scheme with silver, white and crystals that sparkle mesmerisingly through every colour of the rainbow when they catch the light. Lovingly hand sewn the attention to detail is sensational and the opulent purple velvet lining makes the bikini incredibly comfortable to wear.

I feel like a million dollars when I slip into it, an elegant swan, Disney princess and angel all rolled into one and I literally can’t stop smiling from ear to ear – I just wish every woman could have the chance to feel how magical and meaningful this is. The attention to detail, quality and craftsmanship that goes into making each piece is something entirely unrivalled on the highstreet or catalogues; this is a truly unique, bespoke designer bikini that nobody else in the world has but me and I know that it will be an absolute showstopper the moment that I step out onto the stage wearing it.
