It has been about eleven years since I last wore a t-shirt, as after leaving school and becoming an adult my love of printed shirts matured into formal office shirts, pretty blouses and embellished vest tops. Sports luxe and florals are massively on trend this summer, and the humble t-shirt has thankfully been transformed from childlike casual to credible cool which you can wear in so many different ways.

I have to admit to a slight crush that I have for oversized tops and tight leg wear. I love the contrast between skinny jeans and low hanging vests, the way that you can cover and compliment your limbs at the same time, and the girl next door / boyfriend vibe that it creates. I am a UK8 with an ample chest, and in order to achieve the skim-over look that I wanted to create as opposed to shrink-wrapped, I am wearing a UK10 which is one size up. As this t-shirt is transparent mesh I have teamed this with a pair of black wetlook leggings, a black crop top, white plimsoles and a gold watch and bangle. I have kept my makeup minimal and my hair freshly washed so as not to look too overdressed. The floral print of the shirt and large digits add a bold splash of colour and pattern which can be picked out in nail varnish and lipstick, or a bright pop watch to accessorise. At an incredible £3.00 this is totally irresistible!
