Bras & Honey Fantasie Laura Meadow Lingerie
Here I am wearing the Fantasie Laura in a cool and girly Floral Meadow print, with Swiss embroidery that is trimmed with pretty two-tone bows in blue and red. The meadow print is absolutely adorable with variations of ice blue, dark blue, teal, strawberry and grey, combining the smooth silky fabric with lace panels and embroidered contrasting straps. It is both classical and elegant, yet young and playful at the same time, the epitome of femininity, whilst being perfect for every size, shape and skin tone.
The underwire side support bra is made from 80% polyester, 10% lycra and 10% nylon providing excellent support whilst being smooth and forgiving on the skin. Here I am wearing a size 30FF which fits me like a glove, allowing my skin to breath without pinching or puckering around the back and sides. It is vital to wear the correct size of bra in order to get the support and comfort you deserve, and as your age and weight change it’s worth rechecking your cup size regularly. The quality of this piece is flawless as it’s incredibly well made, the stitching impeccable and the material of an excellent grade with so much attention to detail. There is nothing worse than a cheap bra twisting up, tearing, fading or losing shape from washing and wear, so I always invest in a quality set of underwear that will remain supportive and as beautiful as the day that I bought it for many years to come.
The underwiring in a wider wire also provides a more comfortable fit as well as side support to project the bust forward, creating the most amazing silhouette. The tulle sheer across the top of the cups is a brilliant touch, as it allows you to display your bra below low-cut tops without baring all, as the Swiss embroidery is innocent yet flirtatious and less is definitely more. There are two tone bows in a pretty blue and red at the top of the centre panel and also the bottom of the fully adjustable straps.
I am wearing the matching shorts in a size Small and love how the Swiss embroidery covers the top and sides of the leg and buttocks, as at times a thong can feel too exposing, yet a french knicker too covered, so this provides the best of both worlds. The rear of the shorts are a solid panel of fabric, cutting into a ‘v’ shape at the front with the side lace panels adding a little touch of mischief, topped off with a bow at the centre to match those on the bra. This set makes a delightful addition to my lingerie collection and is by far the most interesting print that I have. It would look amazing with a tan as the colours would really pop, yet with my pale winter skin it is also effortlessly elegant and flattering.
