I’m turning into quite a legging connesiour of late as my gym collection seemingly grows by the day but it’s a vice I gladly welcome as it could be far worse, I could be addicted to collecting China teapots or spoons instead! I’m a huge fan of Xplosive Ape for their innovative and inspirational range and when I spotted these tribal skull leggings it was literally love at first sight.

Here I’m wearing a size UK8 made from 80% polyamide and 20% spandex which give these leggings a gloriously close-fit soft stretch finished with a reflective sheen. Depicting over 100 tribal skulls these are bright, funky and very well made with reinforced stitching and bags of charm – they’re unlike anything I’ve ever seen in a gym before and make a fantastic talking point.
Generous in length they hold perfectly in place without digging in or pinching so that I’m free to earn my sweat during my cardio, yoga and weights sessions. If ever you’ve wanted to experiment with patterns then I highly recommend this red and black combo as I find myself channelling my inner warrior when I wear them. You can mix these Xplosive Ape leggings with a coordinating plain black vest and trainers or go all out with a red crop tee for evolutionary fitness at its finest!
