My new years resolution was to be more vocal this year, not in an operatic sense because I sound like a strangled cat when I sing but instead to take charge of my life, say what I mean and mean what I say and never be afraid to voice my opinions. Over these past few years I’ve gradually found my self-confidence since becoming a single parent and I really want to build on that to the point that I no longer doubt myself or hesitate in decision making. So what better way to enhance my persona and strengthen my backbone this spring than to indulge in a little role-play fun with this super hot military dress from Fever!
It’s amazing how dressing up can totally change your body language and attitude. Here I’m wearing a size UK8 Military Chief dress without a bra and I feel so strong, powerful and in control, I almost want to bark orders as I stand tall and walk with a new found poise and determination. The set features a khaki wet look military dress with a peaked hat, belt and gloves and I’ve plaited my hair for authentic military style. I love how silky and shimmery it is to the touch as the dress glistens in the light and hugs my every curve. With a full frontal zip opening, gold studded detail to the breast and gloves, an open collar, shoulder tassels and coordinating side panels I love how sassy this set is.
Finishing at the top of my thigh it’s the ideal length to wear over shorts for a night out, party or hen do, or why not go commando in the bedroom! We can learn so much about ourselves by simply stepping out of the box and leaving our comfort zones; dressing up is the most amazing way to build character and find yourself as a person because role-play allows you to still be you whilst trying something new. This Fever set has given me confidence, self-assurity and a killer wiggle when I walk and it’s inspired me to aim higher with a little twinkle in my eye. What’s your favourite role-play?
