As a mother of two it isn’t very often that I wear stomach skimming outfits other than on the beach in a bikini or when I’m working out from home. Crop tops are a huge trend and this dazzling beauty caught my eye the second I saw it, with it’s bold burnt orange/red shade and completely classic cut.

Here I have teamed it with a pair of high waisted tailored grey shorts to cover my stomach and not leave too much flesh on show, even though my arms and legs are out at once which is normally a no-no but I think it really works for this smart fitted look as I was feeling brave. If you stand up tall with your shoulders back the crop top rises up at the middle just enough to show the ribs, but when standing normally it finishes at about the same height of a high-waist of the shorts, much like wearing a playsuit. The back has a gold zip running from top to bottom making it easy to get off and on and creates a nice feature from behind. There are two pleats below the bust, one on either side, to create a soft feminine shape and give the top effortless style.
Here I am wearing a size M, which is a UK8-10 and 95% polyester and 5% elastane with a luxurious quality knit. At just £11.50 it is certainly a statement piece for any wardrobe and can be worn as a more conservative look with a tight bun, long pencil skirt and heels for the boardroom, or skinny jeans and a dazzling clutch for evening cocktails.
