Orchard Toys Christmas Surprises Shape & Colours Game

When it comes to spending quality family time together you really can’t beat a good board game and somehow it instantly transports me back to my childhood and I get so excited along with my children. In todays modern world it’s all too easy to forget the magic of touching, feeling and playing with real things and this festive offering from Orchard Toys is the perfect way to get my little ones into the Christmas spirit!

Orchard Toys Christmas Surprises Shape & Colours Game

Orchard Toys Christmas Surprises Shape & Colours Game

Suitable for ages 3-6yrs and for two to four players, both my 8yr old daughter Millie and 3yr old son Gabriele love helping to sort the different shaped and coloured presents into Father Christmas’ sack and onto the Christmas trees. Each board is double sided with twenty-four different presents and twenty-four coloured baubles to hang as the children¬†take it in turns to roll the dice and sort their shapes and colours.

Not only does it keep little ones busy but also their minds active whilst helping to encourage play and sharing, social skills, observation, manual dexterity and linking in with early learning goals in education. With presents, wrapping paper patterns, toy robots, footballs, teddies, building blocks and a whole rainbow of coloured baubles to sort it’s a wonderfully festive and captivating game for all and has our kitchen table buzzing with giggles and squeals. Orchard Toys have an enormous collection of puzzles, games and learning tools for children which the Kiss Family are very fond of and this is our latest addition to our games collection. So why not bring a little sparkle to your home this holiday season by asking the little ones to help Father Christmas to deliver his presents!
