I’m calling this weeks fashion haul the Boyfriend Edit because – you’ve probably already guessed it – my boyfriend chose my clothes!
It’s not often that my boyfriend dresses me, actually never, he just always says he likes whatever I have on. So this week he had absolute freedom to pick me four looks that he think would suit me best and I had no idea what they were until they arrived – I’ll let you be the judge of them!
Whilst I absolutely adore glitter dresses and have a few of them in my wardrobe, when I opened this stunning silver mini it was literally love at first sight!
With a wired cup to create a killer cleavage, delicate straps and a second-skin fit he’s really delivered on this pick and I feel like I had such a Cinderella moment when I put it on.
Next up I think every guy loves to see girls in open back dresses because the back is a part of the body that we rarely show which makes it so exciting.
With a slinky stretch fit, this dress is incredibly comfortable to wear without a bra and the ruched detail to the buttocks and legs really help to enhance the hips and make this dress ooze sensuality. So far so good!
I have a handful of black crop tops already but not many with zips and sleeves, so when I opened up this little black beauty it was a pleasant surprise.
Cute, petite and wonderfully supportive, I think this works great with a skirt and nude heels for evening glam, or can be dressed down slightly with skinny jeans and a blazer for more daring daywear. I think that’s a hat-trick he’s scored!?
Finally, my boyfriend knows that I crush over shirt dresses and this thigh-split beauty was racier than I thought he’s choose, but ticks all of my boxes!
With full length sleeves it helps to elongate the torso whilst making a feature of the legs and thighs which I love, and the waist tie is so Hollywood! This makes a huge fashion statement worn as-is, but if you’re not feeling so brave then teaming this with some black cycle shorts or leggings would look just as cute.
I didn’t know what to expect when my boyfriend chose my clothes this week and couldn’t predict if he’d totally cover me up to look like a housewife or have me rocking around in bikinis and miniskirts!
