Seeing as I’m two weeks into recovery from my breast surgery I thought I’d focus this weeks fashion fix on everything comfy-cosy! You may notice that I only have three outfits this week when I usually have four and that’s because a gorgeous faux-fur gilet that I ordered was out of stock so I was notified it wouldn’t be shipped.
Boo for me, yet wahoo for the lucky lovelies who are now fashionably faux-furry in their delightful gilets throughout this chilly weather; a sign of just how popular FemmeLuxe Finery are to sell out on the hottest fashion of the season!
Kicking off this weeks fashion-fix trio I thought we’d start with some loungewear this time and I just love this pretty velvet piece.
Soft, stretchy, super comfy to wear and nostalgically retro, the high elasticated waistline, wide leg and crop top make for the ideal glam night in whether you top-knot and Netflix or read a book with a facemark and cucumbers.
Next up I think we need to appreciate the importance of coats and jackets as a staple for this season. This stunning camel waterfall coat has literally stolen my heart and the neutral colour makes it such a classic!
With an oversized Italian collar, soft tie belt and conveniently deep pockets I feel like Lois Lane from Superman, strutting through the falling autumn leaves feeling very professional and official indeed.
Finally I couldn’t resist stocking up on jumpers with this oversized beauty in a delightful shade of pink.
With a vertical ribbed detail to the shoulders, super long full sleeves and a boxy waist-skimming hemline this oversized knit instantly slims the legs and feels like a never-ending hug because it’s just so soft, warm and cosy – exactly what I need on a chilly afternoon!
I think this weeks edit goes to show that comfy and casual can be fashionable too and whilst I have a penchant for everything tight, tiny and eye-catching I also love a good loungewear set too.
