Seeing as this week has been slightly undesirable weather-wise and we’re now into the third month of lockdown I decided to brighten up the grey skies and thunderstorms with a splash of comfort, colour and the latest tie-dye trend.

Tie dye is so on trend right now and it’s literally everywhere, well, indoors on fashionistas at least! It totally takes me back to my childhood and long and endless beautiful summer days. This would have been perfect for festival season, but at home it adds a little splash of colour and hope for better times to come.
Oversized t-shirts have become such a must in quarantine, especially since we’re all hiding our would-have-been summer bodies beneath an extra layer or two of carbs. I find a pair of tight shorts teamed with an oversized tee is the perfect way to disguise lumps and bumps whilst making a feature of the legs.
It’s therefore no surprise that loungewear is literally everywhere right now and this frilly little grey set looked so adorable online. The top is cropped, yet with my ample bust perhaps makes it shorter on me than it would be on others.
I love how soft, stretchy, fitted and fashionable this set is and it makes me feel that little more glam whilst life is on pause.
Finally I spotted this baby blue number whilst looking for cropped loungewear sets and fell in love with it at first sight. Having blue eyes, I always find that when I wear shades of blue it makes me look all the more brighter.
I actually have this set in so many colours now and love the fit and style because I was so excited to see it in a new shade. I guess when you find something you love it’s well worth stocking up in every pattern, colour and contrast.
This has been my cute-casual fashion haul and I’ve enjoyed finding easy-to-wear and stylish pieces to break up my day and feel like I’m making a bit of an effort to be stylish whilst actually not making any effort at all.
I can’t say that I expected quarantine to last thing long and I’m sure that we’ve still got a long way to go before restrictions are lifted and we can be back out and about living some kind of normal life again – in the meantime feeling comfortable, at ease and uplifted is so very important and I’ve yet to meet a person who doesn’t smile when they treat themselves to some new clothes!
