Eating my way through my vegan chocolate advent calendar, the countdown to Christmas is well underway and I’ve been getting into the festive spirit with all things red this week after a super-fun and sassy fashion haul at FemmeLuxe Finery!
Here are some of my top red-themed outfits that I think look flames!
First up I’d like to show some love for knitted co-ords and all of the cute two-pieces that make winter so foxy and fashionable without the need to be frumpy.
This stunning red ribbed co-ord works perfectly as a set and also looks super cute when you mix and match it with skinny jeans or a blazer. Co-ords are just so versatile and a great way to update your wardrobe affordably because of how many ways you can style them.
There’s no way this edit could be flames without throwing in some mini-dresses and this strapless beauty ticks all of my boxes!
A bright bold colour, figure-hugging, luxuriously pleated and leg-elongating, this is literally every girls dream dress and I feel a million dollars when wearing it.
Next up I wanted to show you how cycling shorts can work great outside of the summer too as this red co-ord looks sizzling with a faux fur coat and heels!
Whilst summer tans may have faded, there’s something enchantingly beautiful about wear deep and bold red’s with pale skin and a rich lip colour.
Finishing up this weeks haul I think this post lends itself perfectly to satin dresses because, in my eyes, satin screams sassy sophistication and I wore this dress to a birthday party this weekend and it literally turned heads the entire night.
In a rich rust colour with full-length sleeves, a ruched back detail and synched-in waist this dress skims every curve for the perfect hourglass figure whilst adding inches to the legs because of the mini length.
Red may not be a colour that you’d automatically think of rocking this Christmas, aside from the festive jumpers and fun Santa hats, but it beats the dull dark wardrobe we find ourselves gravitating towards and certainly puts a smile on faces far and wide.
If I can give any advice this season it would be to be bold with colour, brave with hemlines and have fun with your fashion!
