Seeing as it’s all grey skies, soggy rain, log fires and pumpkin spiced lattes at the moment it’s safe to say that my inner Ice Queen has been channeled!
Having just had a breast enlargement surgery I decided to treat myself to some Autumnal picks from my favourite online retailer FemmeLuxe Finery, and so this weeks haul is based upon frosty whites and breezy blues – enjoy!
Let’s kick things off with my love of jeans – and the first time I’ve had a new pair in quite a while. Having had BBL surgery also (buttock implants) it can be tough to find skinny jeans that cover long slim legs and a disproportionate derrière – however these beauties do the trick to perfection!
Purposely ripped to within an inch of my thighs life, I can already picture my beloved Mum saying You’ll definitely catch a cold in that! Where’s the rest of it?” I love teaming jeans with heels and the distressed contrasts fabulously with a simple vest and statement watch for effortlessly stylish daytime casual.
Next up I couldn’t resist perusing some white party dresses because FemmeLuxe always deliver on sass. This dress is designed to have a front tie detail but I actually love it tied at the back, so I’ve worn it both ways here to show how versatile it is.
Strapless, short, hugging my curves in all of the right places – for me this dress is the epitome of must-have! Here I’m wearing it without a bra and it holds everything perfectly in place whilst somehow still making my pale skin look bronzed. Add a sparkly diamond necklace and I’d literally wear it to my own wedding!
Sticking with the theme of party dresses I also spotted this ice blue beauty which I think works wonders with my new red hair!
With pretty feminine shoulder straps, a flattering shift cut and mini dress length this glitter sparkly dress is sure to turn heads wherever you wear it!
Finally I thought we could finish up with a celebration of short co-ords as I’m now two weeks into my six week post-surgery recovery and desperate to hit the gym again!
Perfect as loungewear, active wear and even daytime casual, I love how versatile and fashionable shorts have become and this co-ord set with an elasticated tie-front crop top is beyond adorable as well as being super comfortable and easy to wear – what a winner!
I hope that you’ve enjoyed my Ice Queen haul and apologise for my delay in sharing this weeks style staples as I’ve been recovering from surgery and living in pyjamas – so it’s beyond amazing to get my glad rags back on and feel human again with some retail therapy.
Whilst autumnal colours are rich and vibrant golds, reds, orange and browns, cooler colours of fashion work particularly well as a contrast. It’s the perfect time of year to bust out some ripped jeans and oversized jumpers or throw on some cycle shorts and pretend that you would have gone to the gym if you didn’t just have that extra creamy coffee and cookie!
