This weeks shopping haul is all about the mesh – and perhaps a little orange too, just because. I’ve been hunting out the hottest semi-sheer summer wear from my favourite online fashion store FemmeLuxe Finery and I just know you’re going to love this!
Let’s begin this haul with a celebration of my love for black playsuits – boy oh boy what a head turner this is! I love how sassy this makes me feel.
With a bardot corset it’s basically a swimsuit with a mesh playsuit over the top, keeping you covered up yet playfully exposed at the same time. The underwear as outerwear vibe is so strong here and I love how it makes such a dreamy feature of the neck and shoulders.
Shifting ever so slightly over to my next piece, I love how bodysuits look amazing on their own for pool parties or teamed with shorts, trousers and skirts for more conservative daytime to evening wear.
The full length sleeves, frills and ruffles of this beautiful bodysuit screams total Hollywood glam and I love how feminine it is. I can almost hear the DJ from here spinning summer mixes as I strut around in the sun with a cocktail in hand – bring on Ibiza baby!
If mesh isn’t for you then why not give cargo trousers a go – neon orange is so hot this season and these beauties would look smoking hot over a bikini or with a tiny crop top as an alternative to a sarong or beach dress.
If you’re staying home this summer then you can rock sports luxe in style by teaming these trousers with a pair of heels and a statement clutch.
Once you’ve reestablished a love for trousers then I’m 100% sure you can take the next step to try out some mesh beauties like this. With swimsuit style pants built in for modesty, I love how these flared mesh trousers have the most dramatic swoosh to them as you walk.
Keeping an outfit all black means more room for bold statement accessories and when you have a particularly daring item of clothing, colour matching helps to merge a combined outfit to work well as a whole.
Whatever your summer plans are, from festivals and barbecues to holidays and lazy summer evenings, I hope that you’ll enjoy experimenting with mesh items just as I have.
I recommend you start off with something subtle such as fishnet tights or a mesh gym vest to get a taste for it and then build up to bodysuits and trousers from there; if you’re feeling particularly brave then why not rock some neon mesh and become the epitome of a diva!
