New season, new look and I fancied some funky coloured wig fun with this weeks fashion haul from my favourite online retailer FemmeLuxe Finery.
Here I’ve hand-picked some of my favourite season staples that will seamlessly slip into every wardrobe for an instant style update; enjoy!
I feel like we need to take a moment to appreciate shorts because they’re not just for school uniforms and PE kits, I actually find myself wearing them far more now than I ever did in my youth.
I’m slightly obsessed with these wetlook PU beauties because they tempt out my wild side and give me the strangest desire to want to stroke my legs! Tight, short, shiny and effortlessly figure-hugging, I love how long they make my legs look and how sassy I feel when I wear them.
Sticking with my love for shorts, if those shiny babes are a too out-there for you then slinky cycling shorts are a more subtle way to rock the look. Whether you wear them as gym wear or casual they’re just so ridiculously on trend right now.
I find training in leggings makes me hot on cold days when the heating is on, yet wearing hotpants or short shorts is too cold this time of year. Cycling shorts are the wonderful mix between hot and cold, summer and winter, fashionable yet practical and can be worn above or below the knee. Rock them with an oversized jumper and trainers for daytime casual or with heels, a sparkly crop top and clutch for evening cocktails – they’re just so versatile.
Speaking of tops, mesh tops are just so in right now and this shimmery grey beauty looks sizzling teamed with a skirt or shorts. With full length sleeves, a shrilled waist and sheer mesh fabric, this is the perfect evening wear to rock with a lace bra and lipgloss.
I love how it catches the light and looks so glamourous, being covered up and sophisticated whilst playfully feminine and naughty at the same time because of the mesh.
Sticking with the theme of crop tops, if mesh is too revealing for you then you’ll love this gorgeous crop with a cut-out back that I found!
Again with full length sleeves to make it winter friendly, this sparkly silver beauty fits like a second skin, slimming the arms and accentuating the bust with the most devilishly delightful open back to either expose a fancy bra or highlight the fact that you’re going braless. Seemingly subtle from the front, it is jaw-dropping from behind and looks great with a skirt or skinny jeans and heels.
I hope that you’ve enjoyed this weeks glamourous fashion haul for a few key pieces that I think you’ll love this season. It’s been great fun trying on wigs and playing with colour against dark and sparkly outfits for which you don’t necessarily have to go to your hairdresser to shake up your style.
Whether you have brightly coloured nails, neon earrings, a statement necklace or watch, outrageously patterned clutch or metallic heels; a splash of controlled colour against a classic black or silver outfit brings everything to life and is sure to brighten every party!
