Seeing as we’ve been hit by storm Ciara followed blizzard Dennis this February, I thought I’d best wrap up in the sub-zero 60mph winds without the risk of pulling a cheeky Marilyn Monroe in m usual go-to dresses and skirts!
This weeks fashion picks from FemmeLuxe Finery are four of my favourite trousers for the season and I just know you’re going to love them as much as I do…
Kicking things off, let’s begin with some appreciation for cargo trousers and in particular khaki!
Green works so well against a pale skintone in colder months and I love how earthy and edgy is becomes against my red hair. High-waisted, slim fit and BBL-hugging, these beauts tick all of my boxes for bottoms and then some!
Sticking with the theme of high waisted trousers, being a tall girl at 5ft8″ with surgically enhanced curves – buttock implants – finding jeans and trousers to fit me can be quite a nightmare!
However, FemmeLuxe have the sweetest cuts and second-skin fit that really flatters my shape and makes it possible for me to be both slim and curvy at the same time without sacrificing on style. These Burberry-inspired beauts are divine!
Next up is my love for tartan trousers with this super stylish greyscale number. Literally everything in my house is glass, grey or metallic silver which is modern, fresh and clean and I love dressing to match my home.
Somewhat office inspired, somewhat fashionista, these trousers can be worn so many ways on so many days and instantly dressed up or dressed down with tops, blazers and accessories making them so perfectly practical.
My final pick for this weeks trousers haul are these camo print beauts which feature a paperbag waist which are soft, stretchy, elasticated and ruffled for extra attention to detail.
Finished with gold detail stud buttons and cropped ankles, I love the girlpower vibes that I’m getting and think that they look amazing with nude heels and trainers alike!
This has been my trousers edit this week and I hope that I’ve inspired you to step out of your comfort zone and switch safe and sensible leggings or worn-out old jeans for something a little more statement and stylish.
Whether you go bold with an instantly recognisable print, classic with the cut or embrace a new colour, there is so much fun to be had with fashion and it goes to show that a little bad weather doesn’t have to dampen your wardrobe!
