I’ve titled this weeks FemmeLuxe fashion picks my Fresh Feels Edit as these are some of my absolute favourite outfits to add a zing of summer to my wardrobe.
Seeing as we’re grounded in the pandemic my usual swimwear and summer holiday picks have been replaced with bodycon dresses, bardot tops and jumpsuits to combat the ever so British, slightly-grey-but-could-be-worse weather this summer season…
Kicking things off with bodycon dresses and I adore the plunging neckline and exposed back detail to this stunning cream dress which literally fits me like a second skin.
With delicately feminine straps and a crossover bust this dress screams siren and is giving me slight stepford wife vibes because it’s just so pristine and perfectly fitted – the ultimate head turner for summer evenings and social gatherings.
With weather as unpredictable as the world cup, bardot tops have become a must for me as the strapless design allows me to keep cool in the heat yet my arms covered in a breeze and the transition of the evening.
This dreamy sky blue floral ruched detail top features white and grey flowers and a concealed zip fastening to the side to yet again fit like a glove and flirtatiously play with the feminine shape of the torso and bust.
Finishing up with jumpsuits and I couldn’t resist adding this mustard beauty to my basket simply for the striking silhouette that it creates and playful colour. Whilst it’s reminded me to pop to the salon to have my roots touched up, it also warms my skin tone and thanks to the tie belt detail hides a multitude of summer-snacking sins.
The dramatic wide legs teamed with an asymmetrical single sleeve makes this piece the epitome of stylish and definitely cuts the mustard this season for a garden party or two!
It’s certainly brightened my day to pick out these pretty summer pieces, even though it’s grey and windy outside despite the promise of a heatwave.
When you wear bright colours, beautiful patterns and perfect fits it’s impossible not to smile come rain or shine!
