My readers always have the best surprises for me and this latest addition from my Amazon Wishlist has had me doing cartwheels; what a stunning dress it is! Black is one of my favourite colours for evening wear as it’s timeless and formal, although the cheeky length of this mini is perhaps best reserved for evening cocktails rather than the opera!

Here I’m wearing a size UK8 made from a polyester and elastane mix which makes it soft, slightly stretchy and beautifully comfortable to wear. Finishing at the top of the thigh in length the scoop hem provides extra coverage to the front and back whilst elongating the legs and making a feature of the thigh. The open sides are fastened by two elasticated straps to expose the site of the bust and the neck choker add a flirtatious touch whilst breaking up the open cleavage.
On a scale of 1-10 this dress is quite possibly an 11 for feistiness and I feel a million dollars when wearing it. Whether you rock it with thigh-high boots or patent stilettos and a metallic clutch you really can’t go wrong. And whilst it’s difficult to conceal underwear in this little number you can pull a g-string up pretty high or don a pair of hot pants or miniskirt for a little extra coverage.
