When it comes to working out I get so incredibly hot and sweaty during cardio to the point that it becomes uncomfortable and I just want to peel my skin off to get cool. There’s nothing worse than wearing hot and restrictive clothing in my opinion as it inhibits your range of motion and makes you hit the wall of stamina far sooner than you’re ready. I’ve had a revival of my passion for crop-top fashion recently and was delighted when this cute little piece arrived on my doorstep today thanks to a very kind reader from my Amazon Wishlist.
Amazon Wishlist Black Work Out Crop
Here I am wearing a size UK8 crop top made from 95% viscose and 5% elastane, it’s soft, stretchy and is great to move about in. I have teamed it with a pair of knee high black socks and a g-string which is clearly impractical fitness attire but I think it makes for super cute loungewear. This black crop features the words “WORK OUT” across the bust in bold white lettering with matching white binding to the scoop neck, arms and shoulders for monochrome matchiness – yes it is a word because I’ve just invented it.
For the gym I would wear this crop over a neon sports bra with a pair of high-waisted black leggings and white converse to follow on with the monochrome vibe. It has such a retro urban vibe about it that is perfect for layering over a plain vest if you’d like to cover the stomach. Part of enjoying fitness is feeling good in what you wear and this top certainly steals the show!
