When it comes to winter fashion I get so excited because I love snuggly jumpers, long sleeves, cosy wraps and winter boots. There’s something reassuring about knitwear, a reminder of Christmas and merriment perhaps, and this beauty from Atmosphere ticked all of my chilly boxes the second that I saw it!
Here I am wearing a v-neck jumper dress in a size UK8 in a gorgeous shade of burnt orange. Made from 100% viscose it’s silky soft to the touch, floaty and slightly stretchy with a nice weight and drop to it. As you can see it creases rather easily as it was folded in my shopping bag and arrived home like an elephant had sat on it so ironing skills are certainly necessary, something I don’t possess.
The full length sleeves are playfully pinned back to just below the elbow with metal loops and matching ribbon a la librarian style. And the adjustable waist tie allows for a slim silhouette or slight slackness to accommodate a cheery Christmas lunch and one too many puddings. The simple v-neck is both classical and understated making this dress the perfect piece to wear in the evening with a shawl, heels and a clutch or out to lunch with black leggings, a biker jacket and fluffy boots.
