Here I am wearing the Hybrid Ivy Faux Leather Black Bandeau Dress in a size UK8. It feels incredible with its soft faux fur finish that clings to the body and holds you effortlessly in all of the right places. As I have an ample bust I am unable to wear a bra with this dress because I wouldn’t be able to get the zip otherwise, however the cups are supportive and hold everything in place so it’s really not a problem. At a 30FF cup size I have filled a size UK8 to the seams and didn’t want to go up to a UK10 and risk the body being baggy. Fortunately there is a two way exposed zip running down the entire length of the back so that you can open the dress right out and wriggle in, which makes getting in and out incredibly easy.
The sweetheart neckline is adorable, accentuating a smooth feminine body shape whilst also keeping you covered. And the dress itself is bandeau style so it has no straps, but due to the way that it is cut to fit the body it holds up perfectly, and along the cups there are rubbery strips just like in strapless bras and stockings which hold to the skin more easily to help prevent slipping. Finally the peplum detailing to the middle of the dress really draws the eye line downwards to give emphasis to the small waistline and curvy hourglass figure from an exaggerated hip. This dress is a pretty striking look, but boy oh boy does it feel incredible to wear, it’s the closest I’ve ever come to being Catwoman and I love the twinkle it puts into my eyes and the wiggle in my hips.
