Since becoming a mother eight years ago I class white as an incredibly luxurious colour that I don’t often wear. Perhaps for the fact that sticky fingers, spills and stains are rife with two little ones running around, but also because white clothing usually has a habit of revealing lumps and bumps, showing imperfections and being semi transparent when wet. Thanks to Luxemme I can rock this stunning white two piece without any worries!
Co-ords, or co-ordinating two pieces are massively on trend this summer, as it’s a figure flattering look that accentuates the curves whilst keeping you covered at the same time. When wearing a skirt I’m always paranoid that it will ride up, expose my underwear or appear too short, but these beautiful high-waisted scalloped shorts are covered, elegant and the height of fashion. They cover my stomach and hips with a chic tailored finish that leaves me walking tall and feeling a million dollars.
The eyelet lace up top allows the bottom and side of the ribs to be exposed, with a high scalloped detail neck and shoulders, keeping me covered in all of the right places yet with plenty of skin on show. Tailored to shape to the bust, the top is figure flattering, minimal and extremely eye catching with a futuristic free spirited vibe. This set captures the essence of summer fashion for me and despite wearing it out for lunch I didn’t get a single mark on it at all, eating, sitting, putting bags on my lap and wearing makeup.
It seems that white is no longer a colour to be feared, as this fresh and uplifting ensemble makes every colour worn with it pop and I feel so tanned and slim when wearing it. I like to team it with sandals and sunnies for smart casual daywear, but you can dress it up with nude heels, a statement clutch and bold jewellery for the evening. Priced at just £35.00 by Luxemme for the set, this is an incredibly fashion forward purse friendly find.
