The Lymphoma Association

We were honoured to be able to raise funds again this year for the wonderful Lymphoma Association based in Aylesbury who provide information and support to those affected by lymphatic cancer.

Our family funday is an event that we put on for free to the public each year to give something back to the community and raise funds and awareness for a worthwhile cause; for which we decided upon The Lymphoma Association after losing a dear grandparent to cancer not so long ago.

We are so proud to welcome Mr Graham Webster to our event once more, who was the Mayor Of Aylesbury last year, and still continues his hard work so selflessly to help others and raise funds and awareness for The Lymphoma Association for whom he did a skydive recently! Here we have a lovely snap of Graham in his Lymphoma shirt with Luca.

We were joined by the delightful Mix 96 crew of the local radio station and the very jolly Mix Monster who kept the children entertained handing out lots of balloons and freebies along with myself. It was fantastic to see so many children and families joining in and making donations to help others.

We hope that everybody enjoyed their time with us today and that you will take a little time to think about this amazing charity and visit their website here The Lymphoma Association.

A Press Clipping From The Bucks Herald Covering Our Event

I cannot begin to express the difference that we all can make to the lives of so many by helping and giving whatever you can. Whether it’s putting a few spare coins from your purse into a collection bucket that you pass, volunteering your time to hand out leaflets or man stalls at events or organising an event of your own, every little helps and it saves lives. For all of those who are fighting cancer today, and for those who have sadly lost their battle and being taken from us too soon; we can give the gift of support and hope for the future, for our children and grandchildren and great grandchildren and families we have never met but are going through such strife across the world.

As a mother I would do anything in the world to protect my children and keep them healthy and safe from illnesses and danger, and in showing your support and helping to raise funds and awareness for such a worthwhile charity you really are changing lives. So please take a little time to help others because it’s worth far more than you will ever know.
