As you may have guessed from the title of this post and pictures, this weeks Femme Luxe Finery fashion haul is my super-fabulous glitter ball edit!
Basically it’s a selection of my favourite dazzling dresses to get you into the party spirit ready for a glam night out across Christmas and New Years…
Kicking things off with this this very glamourous edit and I just had to start with a bodycon because, let’s face it, tight and curvy is the epitome of glamour at any time of the year!
With clear straps and a mini dress hem, this gorgeous number is such a show-stopper! Designed to cross over at the shoulders for a strapless appearance, I’ve actually crossed it around my neck to ramp up my cleavage and create a Malificent style look instead!
It’s clear that you’re onto a winner with mini dresses this season, but can we just take a moment to appreciate how epic the metallic detailing is on this dress – I’m actually a real life glitter ball!
Literally every angle, curve and step has me sparkling and twinkling in this gorgeous piece and it’s so incredibly comfortable to wear. Another key staple this season is glitter and this stunning mini dress has absolutely bags of it! When you’ve got a shimmering beauty like this delicate-strapped, curve-hugger a simple clutch bag and smokey eye are all the accessories you need.
Mini dresses really help elongate the legs with extra skin on show which in turn slims down the torso. When they’re as cleavage-inducing as this there’s no need for a bra as everything stays perfectly in place from the skintight stretchy fit.
Finishing up with a sparkly number for my fabulous four party-dresses, I’ve taken this strappy dress and tweaked it to my liking once again. Designed to be worn with shoulder straps and the lace-up bow to trail down the back like a Christmas present wrapped perfectly beneath the tree; I’ve instead pulled the straps down and tucked the bow into the back of my dress and you’d never be able to tell.
Lace-up dresses are so versatile for which this allows me to fuel my obsession for strapless – I just love exposing the shoulders! With a stunning criss-cross back it’s another opportunity to go seductively braless and rock some feisty femininity!
I actually can’t decide which of these dresses are my favourite because I just love them all so much! Bright, sparkly, glittery, metallic, eye-catching and effortlessly chic – the perfect addition to my wardrobe to see me through the party season.
