Legs edit: here are my top picks to make your pins look longer than a Bank Holiday weekend with my latest hot selection from my favourite online retailer FemmeLuxe Finery.
Whilst technically these picks aren’t strictly lower-body wear, they do make legs look smoking hot by either putting focus on your pins and allowing you to statement style the torso, so let’s get to it!
First up I have this stunning loungewear set in black which features full length sleeves and a v-cut neckline that can be worn on or off of the shoulder. With an elasticated rib-band and high-waisted joggers it elongates the legs and slims down the stomach beautifully. Teaming tracksuits with heels also adds a few extra inches and makes the ankle to hip ratio look endless!
Sticking with the classic black theme I was so excited to discover FemmeLuxe’s new knitwear for which I’m wearing their oversized Melanie here with black hot pants to turn it into a rather daring mini-dress. With dramatic oversized sleeves and a hip-skimming waistline this gorgeous knit would look equally stunning over jeans or leggings alike.
Whenever I hear the word ‘extreme’ I just have to have it! Being a keen lover of polo necks I couldn’t resist this mustard masterpiece. With a thick, chunky knit, bell sleeves and oversized fit I feel like an absolute fashionista in this jumper. I find this a gorgeous comfy knit to relax at home in, and whilst you’d be a little chilly wearing just this outdoors, the dramatic oversized cut means that however you dress your legs they’re sure to look extra slim and long in contrast!
Finally we’ll finish up in beige with this cute little crop top. FemmeLuxe have such a great selection of crop tops and bralets and the second I spotted this asymmetrical beauty I just had to have it. Supportive, sassy and seductively skimpy for an evening out, here I’ve teamed it with a black miniskirt and heels for sun kissed summer sessions, however for charming English afternoons this would look super cute with cropped jeans and a boyfriend blazer.
My top tips for elongating the legs are to dress big and baggy ontop, wearing something tight, shiny or bright on the legs; go all-out daring with something short and sassy for head-turning style.
With summer shortly upon us I’m getting so excited to show some skin after a long cold winter – how will you be celebrating the coming party season?
