With it tipping twenty degrees outside in the sunshine, I really wasn’t expecting to be trapped indoors amidst a worldwide quarantine because of the Coronavirus pandemic!
I’m supposed to be on a beach on a private island in the Maldives now, but instead I’m indoors bingeing on way too many carbs and Netflix, so I thought I’d dedicate this weeks fashion haul to my favourite lockdown loungewear… enjoy!
First up I thought I’d start with this pretty little khaki number as cropped loungewear sets are so hot right now!
Soft, stretchy and super comfortable, I love how glam and figure-hugging this loungewear set feels and the horizontal flecks of green and khaki add such nice attention to detail; Lara Croft eat your heart out whilst I eat my Kettle crisps on the sofa!
A timeless classic for your wardrobe is grey two-piece loungewear sets as they will never go out of style. Whilst we’re allowed to leave the house once a day at the moment for a small amount of exercise in the su shine, obviously whilst practising social distancing, being indoors the temperature can feel so much colder.
I love the short sleeve top with this set as it keeps me warm whilst I’m just hanging about and cool when I’m doing chores and tending to my family – the best of both worlds! Oh, and it’s super cute too!
Growing up I could have mistaken black loungewear for my school P.E kit, as we were always forced to wear a plain black jumper and jogging bottoms – who would have thought I’d adore it so much now!?
Black works seamlessly with everything, is timeless, understated and perfect for hiding salsa stains when you accidentally overload a tortilla! Is everybody else lazing around and overeating too right now?
Finishing up I thought I’d return to grey loungewear sets but this time with a chunky knitted set which is beyond adorable. Thick, cosy, warm and reassuringly stretchy -even after carbs- this has totally become my go-to lockdown loungewear.
I never thought I’d be spending Spring/Summer 2020 hiding away indoors, but dressing well in something that fits, looks nice and is entirely functional really helps to lift your spirits!

Think of this time as a kind of Christmas-part-two when you can treat yourself to a treat, get a few more hours of sleep in the morning and Facetime friends and family like it’s a lazy weekend.
