The Aloe-Jojoba Conditioning Rinse is said to be enriched with vitamin B complex and hydrolysed protein providing extra moisturising power to leave the hair soft and shiny, whilst caring for the hair, removing electrostatic charges and feeling like silk. It is pH balanced, highly concentrated with the International Aloe Science Council Seal of Approval as well as being suitable for all hair types. Well, that certainly sounds good, but how will it fare on my normal-to-dry hair? To the shower to investigate!
Squirting the Aloe-Jojoba Conditioning Rinse into the palm of my hand, on first impression it was very much like any other conditioner in appearance; thick, bright white and freshly fragrant. Having already shampoo’d my hair I had rinsed it through with warm water before applying a pea sized amount of conditioning rinse to my hair and massaging it in. Then I realised why this product was different; the conditioning rinse lathered up ten-fold and coated every inch of my hair in a soft glossy cocoon. Unlike other conditioners I have used, this didn’t sit on the hair like a mask, but actually absorbed into the hair completely until there was almost nothing left. I left the conditioning rinse on my hair for a few minutes before rinsing under the shower with warm water as directed, and instantly my hair felt silky smooth and luxurious to the touch.
After towel drying my hair I combed it through and was pleasantly surprised at how sleek and soft it felt. I usually have a mound of messy tangles to contend with which take a few minutes to work out of my hair, but the frizz was greatly reduced and half the effort. I left my hair to dry naturally and didn’t feel the need to straighten it as it was noticeably smoother and glossier than when I use my usual conditioner; as it’s concentrated the bottle will last far longer. What a fabulous product which shows that good quality ingredients really do make all the difference!
