This watch from Sekonda forms part of the Editions range with mine featuring a brown leather strap and rose gold plated stainless steel casing. The simplistic rose gold tone dial is beautifully finished with a stone set detailing at 12 o’clock and captures the light perfectly, sparkling at every angle.
The wide circular face really makes this watch stand out as it creates a bold fashion statement when worn on a bare wrist without the need for rings or bracelets. The watch is just under 4cm wide which is the same width as my wrist, creating a delicate contrast with the petite brown leather strap. It has a high quality finish with a Quartz movement and is water resistant to 30meters.
I like the classical feel of this piece, as I can imagine a lady in the seventies wearing it aboard a cruise liner with matching leather luggage trunks and a trench coat, just as today it’s bang on trend with it’s gorgeous rose gold finish and wide face. I like to accessorise my watch straps to my hair so that I can wear it with any outfit, and this fits perfectly into my collection as a transitional piece. Wether it’s worn with a smart blazer in the office or cocktail dress in the evening, this beauty is sure to turn heads.
