Muscle Food Meridian Crunchy Peanut Butter

Shockingly I first discovered peanut butter and bananas at the start of this year after always believing that peanut butter would taste disgusting, but a friend at the gym introduced me to the protein rich wonder of this amazing natural spread, and now I go ga-ga over the crunchy chopped nut version. But beware, supermarket peanut butter can be loaded with sugar and undo your hard effort and results in the gym, which is why I’m loving this Muscle Food alternative.

Muscle Food Meridian Crunchy Peanut Butter

The 100% natural crunchy peanut butter is thick, luxurious and sticky with no added sugar or salt. It provides a high source of fibre with a single 10g serving containing a generous 3g of protein, perfect for muscle recovery after a workout or as a healthy snack throughout the day. The peanut butter separates in the tub, showing its purity and freshness, so I stir it up with a spoon before spreading it. I can’t resist dipping in my spoon for a snack as it’s glossy, savoury and moreish with a refreshing kick of redskin peanuts rather than the sickly sweet and sticky sugary putty alternative in supermarkets.

I keep my peanut butter stored in the fridge and here I’ve served it chilled over a ripened banana for a cool summer snack, but it’s also amazing wrapped in foiled and baked in the oven for around ten minutes to serve as a hot dessert. Muscle Food have outdone themselves yet again with this wonderful protein rich snack, and it takes fitness nutrition to a whole new dimension by adding a scoop to your protein shakes.

I also have some exciting discount codes you can use too: Enter KISS1 at the checkout to get FREE chicken in your order and YOUTUBE5 for a £5.00 discount.
