MyProtein Salt & Vinegar Protein Puffs

It’s customary to expect chip sticks, Monster munch and cheese footballs at a children’s party isn’t it? As adults we love a good nibble on something savoury with a cup of tea or glass of wine of an afternoon, yet since turning into a health conscious gym bunny I tend to steer clear of savoury treats in favour of a slim stomach and high energy levels. MyProtein have very cleverly taken a traditionally naughty snack that is the humble puff and turned it into a protein-infused power nibble for the health-conscious and for that I think they deserve a standing ovation!

Protein Puffs are light and crispy savoury balls made from soy protein isolate and really put me in mind of Monster Munch only less greasy and pangy in taste. In a classic salt and vinegar flavour they make an ideal snack to carry around in your bag to accompany your afternoon tea break or journey home from work and a single box contains ten individual 30g pouches each with 15g of protein to help increase your daily intake which is vital for lean muscle mass growth and recovery.

Seeing as I don’t eat meat I really struggle to hit my levels of protein especially when working out so this is a wonderful addition to my healthy-snacks cupboard at home. It’s also nice to know that just because you want to lead a healthy active lifestyle it doesn’t mean that you have to eat plain and boring food as nibbles are something that I have always enjoyed and often crave, so for me these delicious MyProtein protein puffs give me the best of both worlds and for meat eaters they are also available in a BBQ flavour!
