I have two beautiful weddings coming up this summer and it’s always so difficult to find something suitable to wear for a special occasion. If I were going out for the day I would dress smart but casual, perhaps in a playsuit or maxi dress with wedges and an over-sized bag, sunglasses and statement jewellery. For an evening dinner and drinks I would possibly choose something a little more glam, perhaps a bodycon, stilettos and a fancy clutch. But for a wedding you have to merge these two styles seamlessly because it is an all day occasion. You don’t want to look too overdressed during the daytime event, nor too casual for the evening. The Fifi Floral is the perfect dress for my wedding engagements, and would also suit a sophisticated lunch, evening drinks, an afternoon at Royal Ascot or even a family portrait sitting. I adore wearing white with a tan yet always have the fear of getting marks on it, but with it’s gorgeous on-trend bright floral prints there is little chance of that. The bodycon dress fits beautifully, holding me in all of the right places with faded bra cups so I needn’t worry about disguising my bra. It has a cross back to expose the shoulders, made from 95% polyester and 5% elastane so that it’s soft and stretchy whilst being thick and strong enough to hold it’s shape, skimming over any lumps and bumps and avoiding VPL. It’s also made in the UK which is a big thumbs up for quality and the environment, and measures approximately 102cm in length which comes down to my knee.

I am in love with this dress and would be happy to wear it with just a tan and a smile, but I may add a gold watch and stud earrings to tie it in with a clutch bag and court shoes. There are so many gorgeous colours in the print that you can accent from to match your nails and lipstick, making it incredibly versatile to style and comfortable to wear. It makes me want to stand tall, hold my head high, walk with a cheeky wiggle and practise my pout as it’s such a feel-good dress that should rival any LBD for the 2014 summer florals trend. At just £22.00 it is an absolute bargain and I would have certainly expected to pay three times the amount for it because it looks and feels so beautiful.
