We all want to wake up with perfect, fresh and vibrant looking skin, and in my quest for a youthful complexion it’s safe to say that I’ve tried many unique and interesting treatments and procedures all in the name of beauty. But this is the first time I’ve used an acid product, and it may sound a little scary to some, yet surprisingly it’s a natural hydrator with the capacity to sustain up to 1,000x it’s weight in water, retaining the skins moisture perfectly. I certainly suffer from dull, dry and hot skin on my face and I know that it’s partially through lack of sleep, constant central heating in these chilly months and inadequate hydration. But there’s only so much water you can drink in a day without living in the loo, and the children can’t stand a chilly house, as for sleeping 8hrs a night I don’t think I’ve slept through a whole night since before having children.
InstaNatural Hyaluronic Acid Serum is an anti-aging serum developed for the face to target fine lines and wrinkles thereby providing a youthful, radiant, plump, and vibrant complexion. With vitamin C and E, Jojoba oil and green tea it’s proud vegan formula boasts of professional anti-aging ingredients that rejuvenate the skin in a purely organic and natural way. There are no parabens, fragrances, additives or alcohol, as gentle ingredients are used to nourish the face rather than harsh chemicals to destroy old skin.
The Hyaluronic acid delivers immediate moisture and nourishment to the skin, creating a more youthful and vibrant look with a much softer and natural feel to the face, leaving you with a radiant and glowing complexion. It even claims to reduce the appearance of dark circles and puffiness under the eyes, which as a single mother of two I suffer badly from due to lack of sleep. The serum is manufactured from natural and organic ingredients in the USA in an advanced FDA Registered Facility, is vegan friendly and is never tested on animals.
It’s advised that you wash and pat dry your skin before use, and a small amount of toner can be applied first if it’s part of your usual routine. You then pipet a small amount onto your hands which you can smooth across the face and neck being careful to avoid the eyes. The serum can be used day and night and worn under makeup, and you can follow it with a moisturiser too if you wish. I want to judge the serum on it’s results alone, so although I would usually use a toner and moisturiser beneath my makeup I will be using the serum alone, first on my bare clean skin and then under makeup to see if and how it changes throughout the day.
The bottle comes security sealed and the serum is surprisingly clear, like thick water with tiny air bubbles trapped throughout. It smells beautiful like a refreshing and vibrant spa, with green notes and a slight citrus zing and a very little bit goes an incredibly long way. The serum rubs onto the skin effortlessly, leaving the surface of my face moist and vibrant. The problem areas on my face are certainly the dry and hot skin around my eyes which leaves me with dark circles and bags, and the area around my cheeks and mouth always tends to make my foundation crack and cake with dryness throughout the day. I have been applying the serum to my face without using any other products before bed and first thing in the morning and already notice a great difference. It is soothing, quenching and really does pack the skin with moisture, it creates the perfect base to apply my makeup to and even by the evening my makeup doesn’t crack.
Because it plumps out the fine lines and wrinkles my face looks far younger and more radiant, much like how you’d apply a pretty lipstick to bring definition to your lips, the serum creates an immediate anti ageing effect on the area it’s applied to and lasts all day. It goes to show that proper hydration can work wonders for a youthful complexion.
